I see Lucas is back to ranting about communism on facebook. the fatter and closer to death he gets, the more he blames the government for not solving all his problems for him
I wonder how long it'll take for him to claim he wouldn't be in his position if he was in canada getting in on all that socialized medicine. When in reality lucas being a lazy shit would end up dead waiting for treatment because he wouldn't push to make sure he got treated properly
Thats assuming of course that he didn't just die on the streets from the average canadian winter. He'd never last long in a homeless shelter here and couldn't just live in the woods like he dose in spokane and jump in and out of shelters. Only place he could even try to live outdoors would be the vancouver area cause of the weather - rarely drops below 0 for any length of time but is rainy as shit, but all the hobos gravitate toward east vancouver and hastings because thats where the majority of the locations that offer services to hobos and addicts are. Staying there would end about as well as skid row in LA would have. He'd be killed within a week. Sooner if he tried to pull his famous 'give me what I want or i'll report you to the cops for dealing drugs' being too stupid to realize vancouver is the largest heroin infested shithole in the world, most of the people living in those hobo areas are addicts and the moment those words came out of his mouth he'd be a dead man walking
Point being, lucas is incredibly lucky to be where he is, particularly in terms of being spokane. Its the mecca of WA for the best support for people like him in the state. If anything he should be thanking whoever catfished him to go there in the first place, as if he'd stayed in olympia, wandered off somewhere else in the state or left the state entirely he'd likely be in a far worse position than he is now
That said, his best days are behind him. He'll never be employed, let along in a stable manner, he'll never have a woman, a house, an actual roommate situation like he had with cyril, never have a place thats actually his, likely never go anywhere or have vacations or see anything again. At best he'll sit in a shitty nursing home or adjacent halfway house setup for the rest of his life, with failing health, no money, not even a dog or cat to keep him company (not that he should be around any animals anyway) . Hell he doesn't even have a tv or a computer to pass the time. His life as it is now is in many ways worse than actual senior nursing home residents. They at least lived a long life, had friends and family and hobbies all that and are active in their nursing home communities. At best all lucas does is wander the streets and go on psychotic rants into his phone for youtube. He's in his early 40s living like a 90 year old dementia patient with kidney problems. He really did peak in high school. His short time with cyril and working at mcdonalds are pretty much the highlights of his entire life. He has barely left two cities in WA in the last 20 years except for his trip to LA. Hell he never even played the board games he bought and even the ones he made he played a handful of times with literal mental patients and even then spazzed out and likely cheated to win. He reminds me of a scene cut from a ds9 episode where dr bashir gets back to his quarters, that had been occupied by weyoun while everyone was gone, found a weird collection of items like string, broken glass, picture frames and such that he collected and spent hours just studying like some kind of autistic. Thats the kind of mentality lucas has. He 'studies' people in weird ways, draws weird conclusions from it and then never actually does anything with any of it
Having said that, the saga of the wern isn't over yet, though I suspect its not that far off. Lucas will have at least one last explosive fuck you to the world in some form before his health finally fucks him. Its too ingrained into his character not to. When that day comes we'll know it and it'll be the signal that he's on his way out one way or another. On that note, when he gets to that point and finally understands he has nothing left to lose, if he is ever going to do something crazy, violent or go rapey predator on somebody it'll be then, because at that point theres no reason for him to care about the consequences. Thats when we should all be keeping a very close eye on his activities in case he starts giving indications he's going to do something to someone. Nobody wants this all to end with him trying to rape somebody or go predator on a little girl, or even possibly suicide by cop if he has enough of the unpleasantness of his treatments
