He's not mentioned dialysis again since that one time he said it was to address "dehydration", right? I think he fucked up big time letting that slip. Lucas is as narcissistic as he is ignorant and stupid, so he either thought dialysis was a rehydration procedure or thought it was far too technical and clever a word for lesser people to understand and just lied, but either way I doubt he would say he needed dialysis if he didn't need dialysis, because if he was going to make it up for attention he would have at least checked what it meant and realised it would reveal what bad shape he was in as a result of his own decisions.

You don't do dialysis as a one-off except in some very rare poisoning cases and things like that. You do dialysis because your kidneys are fucked, and a kidney that is badly enough fucked to need dialysis is long past the point at which it can be un-fucked. At that point you get a transplant or you do dialysis on the regular until you expire. And if said kidney failure is a diabetes complication, said expiry isn't far away. We're talking months. And there's no way in hell an obese non-compliant diabetic with Lucas' lifestyle is getting a fucking transplant. Lucas is dying.

As for the lack of content, I think firstly it's that dialysis is fucking exhausting. You will feel like shit for a few hours afterwards because all your blood has been drained from your body, rumbled through a machine, and then put back. That's a big shock for even a healthy body. And when you're not on dialysis you feel like shit because your blood is full of all sorts of unwanted shit that should be in your urine but isn't because your kidneys don't work. Not to mention that even regular dialysis (2-3 times a week is normal) isn't as effective as real kidneys. Lucas will be feeling tired and unwell 24/7, especially if he's outside all the time in the heat. He may not have the energy to do videos, maybe just repost stupid memes between naps.

But also I think it's finally dawned on him that he's dying. And that's enough to throw off anyone's groove, especially someone as arrogant and narcissistic as Lucas. He probably thought he was invincible, now he might not even see Christmas. It'll be even more of a shock to him than it would be to most people. He's probably trying to maintain some kind of denial, but I doubt he is succeeding, especially given how tired he will be, how unwell he is, and the sheer amount of time he needs to spend in the hospital.

I'm with those posters who think we'll see one last fireworks show as it dawns on him that he will die having achieved nothing, either from an objective perspective or from his own perspective of his Zoomer Bae or whatever the fuck. He'll move from denial to anger, and may not even have time to go through the other stages until his poisoned blood causes his other organs to shut down until he dies in horrible pain, unloved and unmourned.

At the time, I thought that deleting his channel was evidence of some sort of outside influence, possibly a therapist, because Lucas never seems very awake to the reality of how he's the most destructive force in his life...

When Lucas surprisingly deleted his videos, I saw it as evidence of a novel, outside influence. I could not credit Lucas with the ability to learn, nor the self-awareness necessary to be properly embarassed of his YouTube videos. Surely, some tard wrangler managed to do the impossible, and convince Lucas that his body of work was a problem. I don't see it that way anymore.

As time goes on, Lucas's deletion and subsequent behavior feel less like damage control and more like giving up. Whatever value Lucas found in producing videos is gone. I wonder now if Lucas is in some transitional phase. Before The Wern there was the Broke Atheist; before that, GreenerAtheist; and before that, the Wizard.

Not the multiple stays in the psych wards, not almost losing his foot, not being stuck living in the woods and shitty homeless shelters and being watched wherever he went, not being the laughingstock of spokane, but being stuck with seniors and seeing his best case future barely into his 40s. I can legitimately see that having been the case. The meds made him see things semi clearly and coherently for the first time in years and forced him to acknowledge the situation he's in and that it was not going to get better. It would certainly fit with the irony of being lucas that at the first glimmer of sanity and realization he broke. That this didn't happen earlier during his many psych ward trips when he was also on heavy meds is obvious - he was much younger then, more able to engage in denial and convince himself the future would be better, not to mention he considers himself better than the crazy people around him so he psychologically distanced himself from seeing them as his future. But its much more difficult to spend alot of time in a nursing home and not start thinking that this is his inevitable fate in a best case scenario. Perhaps even imagining himself as the crazy old man some younger crazy resident ropes into playing their own insane board games 30 years from now like he was doing to current residents. Even the best nursing homes are pretty bleak and depressing places at the best of times, but lucas would only have the worst of the worst low tier nursing home filled with crazy people nobody else wanted anything to do with. Even in his simple, rutting animal brain that must have caused a few neurons to fire and cause a few disturbing thoughts on his part

That said I just had a horrible thought about lucas somehow surviving into old age and 70 year old decrepit lucas sitting in some dark corner of a nursing home after taking up the hobby of candy striping to try to impress the nursing staff and coming up with some deranged plan to rub his wernseed all over the candy he was striping so he can either offer it to young nurses or to the granddaughters of the other residents during visits in the hope they'll eat his MRSA infected magic sperm contaminated candy. Perhaps he'd even post an attraction sign or two on one of those community peg boards in the lobby, offering to discuss genetics before he got in shit from the staff over it
