The funniest thing about Lucas he is just cannot fathom that a lot of people actually like to work.

And I don’t mean career people with jobs that interest them or the “I am doing what I love for a living” people. I mean regular joe types who just enjoy the simple act of being engaged through the day in contributing to society in whatever small way their job entails.

He cannot understand those people who get satisfaction simply by knowing they are working and contributing.

Obviously should wages be higher and less inflation and opportunities to advance be there? Absolutely. But Lucas finds any form of work as drudgery and “wage slavery”.

He has never known the feeling of simple satisfaction of having worked a hard day and seeing the results of his work and feeling good about it.

Funny how he specifically says he 'never stole from her' about the suzanne incident when nobody has accused him of it or claimed he did.
