1. His cash flow returned to norm after he was ousted from the highly lucrative and sought after Walmart position. He's not even posting videos of buying junk food anymore so that money is gone. If someone accepts, is he going to try to course-correct to another venue he can afford? Like the Mallon Place cafeteria?
2. Pretty sure that steakhouses which cross the "$100" threshold tend to have dress codes of some sort. Business casual at a minimum. Does he even own a polo and slacks? Much less a dress shirt.
3. Is he going to ask the date for a ride? I mean, you're a classist bigot if you own a car, but how's he gonna get there if it's not within walking distance.
4. Obv he's implying that he's paying the bill, but he's not particularly explicit about it. Would he split the bill, or even more likely, make the date pay for it?
5. Let's imagine the date happens and it's in the last stretch. He 100% does not intend for the evening to end once the bill is paid and they're walking out the door. So is he going to try to extend by going to a bar (ignoring the non-existent money) or immediately go back to her place? Would he try to bring them back to his????
None of this will ever get manifest, but there are so many potential scenarios, I can't predict the result. The Boghag alogs need to shift direction from Cobes and send her towards Lucas. He's just as awful as her and she'd absolutely end his dry spell for a $100 steak.

I've wondered that a lot myself.
He'd probably pull the "I'm short on money right now" thing and wind up forcing her to basically pay for the meal. She's supposed to be flattered by the idea but not actually hold him to it.
Also in another post at one point he alluded to banging on the grass under a bridge, so he appears to believe your average zoomer will be ok being treated like a $5 whore (except in this case the whore would actually be the one paying). It would be done eating then directly to the underpass for an aggressive fisting.

I guess in some sense of bizarre logic, he's right. Yeah, he may be a net negative to society, his family, and humanity as a whole, but his existence helps government dollars flow into Mallon.
