This is most likely one of the key reasons his family wants to keep him at arm's length. He probably has attempted to guilt his mother on multiple occasions, and even she knew she had to cease communication with him on occasions.

We know that what he says and does is geared as to how it serves him. He tried to manipulate his brothers with Christmas "gifts". It didn't turn out his way so now his brothers are vile and pieces crap. His brothers have the Werner name. Lucas makes the name "famous" where he ends up living. Knowing the pedo path his on, it may just be a motivating factor in his mother moving to Arizona and putting a lot of miles between herself and Lucas. It's a place to retire to, but it's also very unlikely Lucas is going to show up at her front door. It better to have the pedo "do his thing" in Spokane/Washington state than from her own home/front yard.

It's funny. I'll go out to eat sushi or whatever with the couples in tow, but the food is so good it's the only thing keeping me from feeling entirely depressed at a level of complete dysfunction even if seeing happy couples doing their cutie pie shit is the bane of my existence.

I assume in part it's because when he was homeless, he relied on shelters for the bulk of his meals, which at least make an effort to follow basic human nutrition. Still enough to keep him fat, but quantity alone probably kept him from ballooning. Now he's got a home, he's become entirely sedentary, and is free to cook and eat as much unhealthy shit as he wants.

If he is raiding soup kitchens he's getting carb overload. Soup kitchens run on white bread and white flour and gravies. If it ain't flour, it's all sodium in the chicken base in that thin chicken soup. There's a lot of fat people in breadlines.

It's worse than you give it credit. Lucas has bragged he steals from church kitchens like he's Martin Luther and dieting (sorry such an easy pun). On Lucas disliking Christians while taking advantage of their free food, I went back to check on this article. Mosiac Fellowship church sponsors community meals and parties for the residents of Pioneer Pathway House. Lucas talked about a pretty black lady that served him pop and showed up the next day at Pioneer Pathway to look at church material. I'm thinking she was from Mosiac Fellowship and he had been there at the church for a pot luck/meal where she served him the drink. That's why she showed up at his building checking on church material. He may still be showing up for meals Mosiac provides, while wishing for bad things to happen to believers in God. Unless he's become persona non grata at the church, which would not be surprising. He has been banned from church run shelters before.
