People with Bipolar Disorder who are not on lithium also have shorter telomeres. Their relatives even have shorter telomeres, even if they don't have BD. Lucas is not father material, not even genetically.

older men's sperm have LONGER telomeres than younger men. However, the author proposes this isn't because the telomeres suddenly start growing longer or anything, but simply because the older men represent an earlier generation and haven't experienced the same extent of shortening that occurs intergenerationally. In short ... maybe our species has an expiry date?

He’s definitely not boring to us for our own purposes of laughing at him, but I do think he’s be completely underwhelming if one of us met him irl. ETA: sorry, was trying to copy in his post about how girls will be someone’s friend and then he surprised that Lucas blocks them. He’s once again confusing friendship and attraction. He thinks that women must be willing to fuck him to be his friend because he only thinks of women as sex objects. That’s why he doesn’t want women friends of any age.
