Half of his reason is to mooch food like he admitted he has been doing after the services. The rest is cause, as the above poster pointed out, he has it in his head a 'devout christian girl' is essentially what he wants: barefoot, pregnant, submissive, domestic and does whatever her man tells her. After all thats the stereotype of a good christian housewife. Granted it can be true but lucas just thinks they're all like that and, as always, is looking for a way to exploit something for his benefit. In this case christianity. It can be true, I grew up in a really religious city and know plenty of women like that. The thing is that those tradwife types are usually married to men who can support large families on a single income, so it’s not going to help him either way.

I am betting that he is at New Community Church which is directly across the street from where he lives. There is always a huge amount of homeless people outside of it, going in and out nightly. I drive past there everyday after work.

He came into the shelter this morning for lunch, I briefly saw him as I was busy. His left eye looked swollen and he had scrape marks near it. And his boots were missing their laces....so I cannot begin to guess what happened there.
Also, the church is most likely attending is probably the one right across from his apartment complex. It has multiple groups in from a M-Thurs day Breakfast and Dinner serving ecumenical groups, AA, a Presbyterian group for seniors, and this fundamentalist modern young people group--which probably is the reason Lucas was attracted--that is full of like someone already nailed it on this board, young stay at home wives with multiple children married by professional high income men.

That sounds like someone took a swing at him and stole his laces.....though I can't imagine how the hell something like that could even have happened. At the very least someone clearly hit him. Given that he isn't saying anything about it or going off at whoever did it, it makes me wonder if he approached the wrong woman and she hit him. It would explain why he is avoiding talking about it

Young Christian girls of most major denominations aren't as stupid or weak/submissive as people like Lucas seem to think they are, and the more extreme denominations are very closed off anyway. If he hit on one of them, they'd tell him where the fuck to go real quick.

)The swollen eye and scrape marks could be the pimple he has next to his eye. He keeps picking/scratching at it, it may have become infected either that or he got punched. The boots I'm thinking he got at Goodwill and didn't come with laces.

Lucas conflates wage with wealth, and no doubt has no concept of non-liquid assets because he's a mentally ill homeless person, but we should follow his advice to create the utopia. He describes possessing a lot of money as 'obscene'. More terminology loved by the religious and puritanical. Always hard to tell whether he's trying to think through the voices, act measured/thoughtful, or is simply so doped up that he's looking slow. One of those things applies for this recording, he looks fucked up and is not manic. His output is also slowing.

Agreed. With dysfunctional/beta males, they often clam up around, clash with, or bail on male therapists because they feel pathetic when faced with a functional man. At least with a woman they feel less threatened and have the potential to open up/feel accepted, even if it's stemming from their misconceptions about the gender. Being around an understanding female with hard boundaries and who they will lose access to if they act out will go some way to regulate their behaviour. Unmedicated Lucas might not be safe with a female therapist,* but if he wasn't taking his meds, a professional should be able to notice even if he tried hiding it.
