That said, he couldn't follow the rules of a lax place like pioneer house and already got banned from the shelter at least once. He won't last all that long at the shelter this time either I suspect. It should be quite the saga to see him crash and burn even moreso than he already has

Not merely subsidized housing, but a halfway house or transitional house, where he's not legally a tenant, and subject to stricter rules regarding his conduct (no overnight guests, for example). Easy to fail for someone like Lucas, who cannot or will not conform his behavior to rules and social norms.

I've talked a lot of shit in this thread about how Lucas didn't deserve his fartbox, how the taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for Lucas to sit in his fartbox, what a waste all the help he gets is, etc. Now that he's actually lost it, I've been reassessing some of those thoughts.

I admit I felt a small pang of sadness, because I find the idea if anyone being homeless and sleeping rough, especially in winter, to be sad. But I watch him right now, and think about what he's going to be like in a few months, and there's pretty much no difference between now and when he had housing. He wasn't taking care of his apartment or himself when he had it. Pissing in there sink, refusing to shower, generally being disgusting. He was still angry, delusional, arrogant, and anti-social. He hasn't taken his meds in months. I just can't see the sense in asking society to provide anything for Lucas when he's so disinterested in doing even the bare minimum on his end. Especially when there's people who aren't entitled pedos and who might actually improve who could use that room.

I agree, and I've posted with lots of incels. Lucas is different from them. Seeing his rage about not effectively owning young girls makes me realize what normal people think when they read incels. It's pretty amazing, his place had simple rules "don't yell nigger at 3am, don't rape anyone or talk about raping people and no weapons" they didn't care he didn't shower, he ignored cleaning, probably managed to poop on the toilet seat and skip flushing, all that stuff his building was A ok with, they didn't mind he left food wrappers all over rambling to himself, playing board games alone.
