Lucas looks tougher than ever. How long until the coronavirus saga? He's homeless, diabetic, obese, has MRSA and now claims to have HIV? If he catches it, he's in serious trouble.

Not to defend Lucas, but I'm pretty sure the HIV thing was him making what he thought were edgy jokes.

Unfortunately, it sounded more like a child being stuck for a retort in an argument and just going with the first vaguely vulgar thing they could think of.

where did he get the idea to conflate hair style/presence/quantity with "personality"? if anything, a poorly kept, greasy, slovenly hairstyle that's thinning and yet is still grown into a rat tail is a pathetic, desperate attempt to stave off being bald. there are very few people that can overcome that first impression and they mostly have a very outgoing or bright personality to counter balance it (Christopher Lloyd for example).

that being said, Lucas, as he is now, would look terrible bald - like a large mongoloid baby with sanpaku eyes. if he got swole and lost weight, he had (200 lbs ago) a jaw that might work for a cut rate fitness instructor that pervs on clients and gets slapped more often than paychecks.

Lucas' AIDS joke went something like "Teehee I have AIDS that only men can get, so kiss my butthole teehee."

At the time, there was confusion and people weren't sure if it was a joke. It wasn't funny. In fact, it was so dumb it wasn't recognizable as a joke. Then speculation: If only men can get it, why does Lucas have it? He's not a man. And even if he is nominally a man, he must've gotten it from a man. But what finally tipped off the joke is that AIDS is often sexually transmitted.

And Lucas hasn't had sex in 8 years, since his only sexual partner ever kicked him to the curb (actually) over domestic violence. So in consideration of his sexual failure, it became clear that no, Lucas wasn't HIV positive. He was joking!

San Francisco is currently trying to test and isolate homeless people for COVID19 and quarantining the ones who are showing symptoms in vacant hotel rooms. They’ve also stopped dismantling homeless camps and are telling people not to leave. They’re also distributing lunches in bags instead of dining areas, and restrictions are getting tighter and tighter because of the shelter in place. I expect most cities to follow that example.

On the plus side, people would have to be forced to be close enough to him for him to transmit it or get it, and he's gross enough looking with the whole crusty, bloody lips thing going on that people are bound to avoid him based on that alone!

I looked at some gross pictures of MRSA lip sores so you guys don't have to, and I don't think the lips are specifically a MRSA thing. They may just be an overall poor health/dehydration/spending all day outside in the cold thing.

Just makes me more strongly believe my theory that the 'fever' story she told about lucas to explain his mental problems is bullshit she made up to cover up a family history of mental problems. Think about it, lucas is schitzo, thats usually an inherited condition, his mother has the same nutcase look he does and his brother is also a sped, just not to the degree lucas is. I find it odd and very unlikely thats a coincidence. Given how narcissistic she is herself (gee I wonder where lucas got that from) it fits with her personality to make something like that up to avoid looking bad herself

Yeah i'm sure that will totally work. Its an exercise in futility to test the homeless or try to isolate them in a practical manner. Though the thought of lucas testing positive and getting forced into quarantine is hilarious. He would probably think it was the government giving him a new apartment and start trying to settle in, if not throw a fit after he gets kicked out of it after the quarantine is over

I wish someone had quarantined Lucas years ago for the mrsa, god knows how many people he's probably infected since he moved too Spokane. Maybe when the Wuhan virus scare settles and things go back to normal, people will be more careful around Lucas knowing he's still a walking biohazard
