A promise is worth the person who made it. Lucas promised the men with butterfly nets that he'd behave, and wouldn't drink or smoke pot. He's been getting wasted of course, and hasn't even been sneaky about it.
Watching people take advantage of Lucas fascinates me almost as much as him begging to being taken advantage of. Lucas, who often describes himself as "generous," has a very transactional view of socializing. He casually trades liquor, pot and food for company. He will outright try to buy company, too, like his notorious $1,000 dinner date and frequent offers to pay whoever can hook him up with a queefy bae.
He's a mark and this hasn't gone unnoticed in Spokane's homeless community. Lucas, who is desperate to take advantage of people, is constantly taken advantage of by others in petty ways. Because he's "generous."
His relationship with Isaac, and the recent episode with the troons, are entertaining examples of Lucas's "generosity." Lucas lured a troon or two into his lair with some cheap Mexican food. The troons ditched Lucas while he was befouling the bathroom, and left him alone with his smells. This was such a great experience for him that he made a self-satisfied video memorializing the night he fed troons. I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas counts them as close friends now. I would be surprised if doesn't brag about being a troon ally, to impress the Gen Z baes and bolster his credentials.
Anyway, imagine how Lucas "generous" Lucas would be if he had money. I picture an incompetent Weinstein, harmless despite his awful intentions; too stupid to take advantage of anyone and constantly fleeced by his would be victims.
