I think he might be trying to add Lucas in as a regular segment, like the Jeff Sokol guy he did a few years ago. But to be honest he already has like 4 of Lucas' dishes, so it wouldn't be too far off to say Lucas is starting to become a marque name on that channel.

I'm not exactly close to the person who runs the channel, I've just known about it for a few years because of the TCAP related videos he'd done, particularly the Lorne Armstrong videos.
Considering TCAP isn't really a thing anymore and Lucas just went on a short spree of cooking and eating a $90 prime rib probably naked and like an animal on a fleabag motel bed, I'm not sure how it's surprising to anyone that a channel whose main content is redoing recipes from pedos and creeps has gone with redoing Lucas' attempts at cooking.
Or maybe I'm seeing a difference because Lucas isn't on that channel, isn't being interviewed, hasn't been invited to appear in a video, isn't being really interacted with at all, and certainly isn't being paid for anything whereas TGR did pay him in the form of a hotel room stay, an overpriced pizza, and a few interviews.
