Most children will be stopped by the fact that you have to pay money for those.
Nah there are shadier vpns, they will probably use, that they can find for free searching online. Who knows what they will potentially end up installing. Probably going to end up getting their parent's financial information stolen, or something. (Do kids still need to use their parents computers or do they just have their own these days?)

Any child that is already so addicted to porn that they figure out how to install a VPN to keep watching it is already lost. It's meant to stop children from discovering it in the first place and putting hurdles in the way of kids "accidentally" stumbling upon it is a good thing actually. Obviously this needs to be implemented for all websites that allow porn and not just Pornhub but it's a step in the right direction.

Every terminally online gooner who thinks this is aimed at them is retarded. You're hopeless anyway.

There are 50000 good reasons why pornography needs to be destroyed. Its a trade in human misery, degradation, and very often rape and trafficking. It ruins brains and desensitises people to suffering, violence amd humiliation and if that wasn't bad enough, it appears to be addictive and widely available to children.

It is a fallacy, that a partial solution, no matter how imperfect, is no better than no solution.

At 29:40 did Jewsh ever follow through with this? If so I'd really want to see it.

If I'm going to actually take the thing seriously. I'm conflicted about it. Because, I do think trying to keep children from getting addicted to porn is a good thing.

But, I also think we shouldn't be using the government to parent out kids, or giving any leeway to them to keep putting up regulations on how things get posted online. Because at least for me. I look at it like, you give them an inch and they take a mile. Maybe people here are fans of a big government with outreach over everything, including how you parent. But I would rather they have as little power as possible personally

I also remember being a teenager. I wasn't particularly addicted to porn or anything, but around the age of 13 or 14 as a boy you will probably try to find porn one way or another. I think kids that age, can in today's age, can pretty easily learn about vpns, and are still dumb enough to not know anything about cyber security. Just understand that a VPN is a thing. They're literally advertised by 70% of the YouTubers now.

I think nothing is the government will ever do is going to cover for the responsibility of parents to pay attention to their children. Obviously they can't read their kids minds or keep an eye on the 24/7, but you can do things to stop it from becoming a real issue.

To sum it up. I have little faith in the government doing anything effective, so I doubt this will be effective either. I don't like the government giving itself power to regulate anything more than it already does. But I do want kids to not end up addicted to porn, and trooning out. So idk.
