Neither here nor there, imo being in power makes some people act irrationally and completely forget that they're about to be fucked with the same boot they're worshipping currently. This is not helped by layers upon layers of performative retardation by le anti-ICE protesters, or the democrats, or whoever else. But I just personally disagree that vooting can change things for the better, the only vooting that matters is that with your own money, usually in the form of lobbying. Thanks for playing.

Not relating to null or this topic specifically as I think your comment is just wrong, but it reminded me of something else. I feel like this period of co-existence with Indians on the internet has caused a lot of people to start thinking in izzat terms also. Some would rather completely ignore their core tenets just so that they can "win" online, even if they literally lose out in real life terms. I don't know how better to explain it, it's a very odd observation but I'm seeing it more and more.

That said. Over the last year, I've lost any of the hope I had for Trump's presidency. Shit is looking more grim than ever from my point of view. The Epstein thing was horrible. There are a lot of things I personally haven't like that aren't relevant enough to mention here. Like his first campaign giving the whole "I'm rich so they can't buy me out" thing. Then look at his funding for this campaign, and things make a lot of sense.
But the thing that really ads insult to the injury, is the brown, Israeli slaves he endoursed. Like Vivek, who this guy in this video is running against. And the florida nigger, I like even less than him. When these are the people he is supporting it's clear thing things he wants aren't in my intetests.
Maybe if they stop the flood of indians to take American jobs I would change how I see things. But everything he has done has shown he wants the exact opposite. He wanted the H1Bs here.
I'm more blackpilled about the state of our country after he got elected. Because he was the chance we had to change things. And it's just become clear no one is on our side in government. The few people that are get death threats, and slandered until they give up, or no one wants to associate with them.
I don't think anyone should give up. But I think being realistic about how grim things are is probably a good thing.

As someone who's lived through the last 12 years being fucked by all sides of people obsessed with politics team or social media clout I have to say the "izzat" shit is just a convenient "old thing actually super new so forget about old thing!" version of shit that existed before the h1bdian crisis. Easy scapegoat slap-on to make current things seem worse when you literally do not need that you can look and go "yeah things are bad let's maybe stop letting shit get bad" but no that doesn't get clout/izzat so it becomes this weird cultural dementia situation where every year or 2 people seem to just reset back to 2014-2016 shit.

It's a year old but a YouTuber named Redlyne does a series where he explored dead games and looks around, which can be more interesting that you would think. In the third video of this series he looks at block and and plays it for awhile starting 37 minutes in.
When he said it's name I went "wow, without this my favorite forum of retards wouldn't exist" and it was the most scuffed lego online wannabee shit I've ever seen. it was like meeting the pregnant crack whore teenager that gave birth to you 20 years later. Not as satisfying as you might have imagined.

I found out a while back (like a year ago) blockland wasn't dead surprisingly. Back in the day Blockland and roblox were like the two lego-like competitor online games before Minecraft showed up. I could never get blockland or roblox running on my computer way back when but I could get minecraft going as far back as when it was in-browser. Roblox's later 2010s-early 2020s resurgence in popularity to the point it now has weird bugman offices dedicated to it for some reason is never going to stop being surreal to me. Seems so removed from what the initial thing was not factoring in the rampant child predation on roblox nowadays which spins it even further into hell.

On Steam it has 32 people playing it right now, so it's pretty much dead. Iirc Null did a stream on Badspot, good times. It's amazing to me that he had the whole Roblox thing going as far back as 2004 and he didn't do anything with it. It's insane, because it's like you said, i remember Roblox from way back when and it was never a huge game, the surge in popularity was, from what i can remember, after Minecraft had already been sold to Microsoft.
Badspot could have been a multi millionaire had he done anything to improve and promote the game in the early/mid 2010's.

What he touched on briefly is the reason why it was so cool when it was active. The active game modes and add-on development was the whole reason to play. It was a bunch of kids programming the first time and making the kind of games they wanted to make with most of the hard stuff taken care of. You didn't need to make a map engine or learn to map because you'd just put legos together or get someone to put them together for you. It was easy. The legos were also functional game objects you could attach logic to. You could attach logic to them via an events system too, so you could really jury rig some crazy stuff with very little programming knowledge or effort.
Trader's JVS Doors were the most important addon in the game. Idk wtf this Blockland Online site is but the comments and times seem accurate. 16 years ago an adult man who worked for a camera company released an add-on for Blockland which added doors. It had a very robust event system so you could trigger all sorts of sounds and actions and time them based on the door's opening and closing states.
It just made it so trivial for a literal child to start writing a quasi-C# script and get real in-game results immediately which were very rewarding to experience.
What he missed out on was actually building. He didn't even boot up a local game and build a house on Bedroom. That's the real game. All those little game modes he played through, he didn't really have the understanding to appreciate how special it was that someone made that because they wanted to make a cool game for their friends. I guess that's just normal on Roblox these days but Roblox looks like shit. Joyless fucking slop. Roblox still to this fucking day looks worse than Blockland.

Roblox has always looked like shit. But it was FREE, so that's why my friends and I played it instead of Blockland. Other than some superficial differences it had a lot of the things you praise Blockland for.
