It's been around for a long time, but almost everyone has just been using MTF and FTM for some reason that I don't get aside from the politically correct crowd. MTF and FTM being used by anti-troon types has baffled me, because the labels are just perpetuating the lie that a male became female and vice-versa. When you call a troon a "TIM", you're saying a number of things. You're refusing to call him a female, you're calling him a male, you're calling out the trans shit as just being how he identifies and nothing more, and as a cherry on top, "Tim" is an obviously masculine name.

TIM and TIF are also just more convenient as a way to avoid the verbal salad of mixing up MTF and FTM.

It's the same people who suggest anime to watch every time the topic is brought up (usually by Null making fun of anime and saying it sucks). They just are not satisfied with someone saying "no thank you, I'm not interested in this topic" they are like a literal cult trying to convert everyone around them. It reminds me a lot about how when you read 4chan, every second post will include a picture of a scantily dressed anime girl (the posters waifu) even if the discussion is totally and completely unrelated. These people are obsessed to a level where they can not consume a single thing without also injecting their waifu weeb shit into it somehow. They don't even realize how obnoxious it is to normal people either.

Not even just normal people. I like a lot of anime, but it weirds me out, too. There is a massive contingent within the anime community of super creepy people absolutely obsessed with moe, lolicon, and waifu talk, and they make it their whole personality. It's why I can't really consider myself a massive anime fan even though I love a lot of anime, because I find the culture that permeates the anime fandom to be incredibly weird, sexually deviant, and obsessive. Coming from someone who was watching anime before it was accessible, this is a recent development as well. Most of the weird anime fans in the late 90s to early 2000s were just edgelords/goths who liked anime because it was counterculture. It wasn't until like 2010 where I noticed people were starting to develop unhealthy obsessions with little girls and body pillows. We all knew about hentai, but everyone considered it a joke because who the fuck jerks it to cartoons? Nobody actually watched it. Now the perverts are running things and most shows the Zoomers are watching have at least a harem's-worth of cheesecake fap-bait or else it's considered unwatchable. I can't point to patient zero, but something definitely changed.

I really like watching speedruns and it has been absolutely depressing watching GDQ devolve into the shitshow it is now. The tranny shit was easy to ignore at first because funnily enough, none of the troons would play the popular games, probably because they weren't really that good at speedrunning them. I guess they just focused on uncontested titles and submitted those, kinda like how troons will enter women's sports to dunk on the physically weaker sex. What really killed the videos for me was covid. They totally bitched out and just did everything over discord or zoom, and if I wanted to watch a speedrunning event without an audience, I would just fucking watch that speedrunner's channel. They all have one. What made GDQ fun to watch and listen to was the audience participation. I guess now the culture war fags have made more inroads into GDQ, so I guess speedrunning is just dead and gay now. Very disappointing.
