"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I have never fucking heard of this, not ever seen it online, so clearly it's not as bad as anime.
Didn't mean to make it sound like anime is not bad. Was attempting to state that its not just anime that's cursed, but adults that get into regular cartoons as well can be just as bad. I hunt down horrors for the fanfiction thread so maybe it is not as prevalent out of that.

Sure, I know some creepy weirdos draw porn of every childhood cartoon and disney show, but you don't generally see it online unless you seek it out. I have never been harrassed by anyone into watching Frozen and I only know kids who are obsessed with it. It's not comparable to anime cultist who post their sick shit everywhere.

He's a minor cow but I'm facsinated with the onging Dave Muscato story.

Last week it was discovered that 39 year old Dave spent $6500 on a guitar and a few hundred on a mini keyboard just a few weeks after being kicked out of his parents house and e-begging because he was homeless even though he was living in a hotel for nearly 4 months. Yesterday, Dave claimed that he was "gifted" a $900 piece of equiptment instead of money to cover essentials like food or rent since he recently moved into an apartment that looks more like a full blown recording studio. After being kicked out Dave claimed that his parents abused him his entire life but unearthed Facebook posts tell another story of his upbringing and his privillaged life.

While not much has really happened with Fredrik Knudsen I do think it would be funny to pull up these pictures on stream.

All this talk of TIMs just gave me a funny thought

There's all this hate on Harry Potter from trannies, yeah?

Did you know that Harry Potter has been accused of being a blatant rippoff of a somewhat obscure character from DC comics?

Do you know what the character's name is?

TIM HUNTER

So one could argue that Harry Potter is a TIM hunter.
He was destined to be at odds with the trannies.

The page states that his first appearance was in September of 2012.

that's the prime earth version (i dunno what exactly that means). the wikipedia for him puts his first appearance in 1990.

i'm personally skeptical of the idea that jk rowling plagiarised this since that implies the english single mother living off benefits was spending her time reading marvel comics in the 1990s. just seems a little too ridiculous.

His first appearance was from The Books of Magic #1 in January 1990 from DC comics. Prime earth version is the second one and they change his appearance.

I doubt there was any plagiarism simply because a lawsuit would have happened already. Plus the character wasn't popular at all

I first heard about Harry Potter being plagiarized back between '99 and 2001. One of the main details being that the original author was poor as dirt or something. I don't remember much about it, that was a long time ago.

from the wikipedia article i linked:

Since the 1997 publication (and subsequent success) of the first book in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, fans of The Books of Magic have noted some similarities between the two protagonists: both are normal, bespectacled teenage boys who have lost their mothers, and discover that they are destined to become powerful magicians while gaining an owl as a pet. The similarity was noted by a journalist from The Scotsman newspaper, who asked Gaiman if he thought Rowling was aware of his 1990 comic, to which Gaiman replied that he "wasn't the first writer to create a young magician with potential, nor was Rowling the first to send one to school".[11]

A story in the Daily Mirror reported that Gaiman had accused Rowling of plagiarism, and was repeated in the Daily Mail. Gaiman has stressed, "This is not true, I never said this", and when asked, repeats his belief that Rowling had not read The Books of Magic and that the similarities most likely result from both being inspired by similar works, in particular those of T. H. White.[3][11] Hunter: Age of Magic author Dylan Horrocks has pointed out that neither Hunter nor Potter was truly an original idea, with another boy wizard preceding Hunter in comics, and they should be considered more as part of a genre:

The superficial similarities are striking - but no more so than any number of other stories in the genre. As Gaiman has repeatedly said, he and Rowling were merely drinking from the same well. In fact, there was even a story in 2000AD (called the Journals of Luke Kirby) which came out a few years before The Books of Magic, which was extremely similar to both the BoM and Harry Potter. This is a genre - and Gaiman and Rowling are both playing with the conventions of the genre, to different ends.[12]
In the last issue of the ongoing (second) The Books of Magic series, writer/artist Peter Gross played on the similarity to Potter, showing Tim's step brother Cyril putting on a glamor stone that made him look like Timothy. Cyril then walked through the wall between platforms 9 and 10 at a train station.

cries of plagiarism when it comes to major books in ya novels are so dumb. they're all pulling on tropes and plots from each other and other series as well. you can only make so many changes to the formula.

"oh the protagonists have glasses and a pet owl and wanna be wizards?! it must be plagiarism!"

glasses, a literary tool to show a myriad of different things, and an owl, a whimsical creature used to show intelligence both appearing in stories about teenagers becoming wizards is not surprising.

Hahah wow guys it's crazy that when BASED Brittany Venti is calling out groomers Antony Cumia's bitch Chrissie Mayr is just SHDH wondering why fucking kids is even being brought up as a bad thing.

Arry podder is well known to have been plagiarized from the Russian anime series Children vs. Wizards.

Oi lads, I'm not lending credence to the plagiarism claims. Even the author of Books of Magic, Neil Gaiman, said it was unlikely, because even though they were super similar superficially, both Tim and Harry draw from very ingrained archetypes of British lore, the Merlin myth and whatnot. Also that if she'd actually plagiarized it, she'd changed the most apparent things, like making him blonde or changing the kind of pet he had.

I'm just saying I had a brain fart because of the idea of Harry Potter being a Hunter of TIMs.

That said, the author of the Books of Magic ongoing (not Gaiman's original mini, but a longer book that followed it) did make a joke about it in the last issue:
One of the antagonists disguises himself as Tim and seemingly goes to Hogwarts

In addition to Danny Brown, it looks like former professional cyclist Joe Papp can be added to the list of people with mainstream notability that read the Farms.

It's good more people are shouting the site out, weird range of fans. I listened to a Danny Brown song recently and it's actually decent, the music video isn't bad either:

Looking forward to the Chudbuds stuff today - I was one of 3,500+ people affected when Clairbere uploaded the dancing chudbud that revealed all our darkest secrets. For real, it sucks for everyone involved... especially for the man with the stapled together penis that doctors won't help him with until he pays bills he can't afford. That is every man's worst nightmare made even worse by it being broadcast all over the Internet.

MATI today at usual time of 12 noon ET / 6pm EST:

Exactly, if he was just pushing the usual playboy degenerate shit about sleeping around and doing drugs then they would want him to keep producing content and having influence over young men, so why is it that they smeared him in the media, told kids not to watch him in schools, arrested him after the Greta spat, and now he has cancer, why would they do all of that if he is pushing the message that they themselves promote?

Tate isn't what I would call a great influence on young men but he does sometimes drop some truth, for example the video he made last year about dying to protect a country that hates you and wants you dead and is already corrupted to the core, he does sometimes say something sensible, this is then seen by a lot of young men who are lost and confused and in desperate need of answers, and that is something that the powers at be does not like.
imagine thinking andrew tate doesn't promote sleeping around. lmao.
He gets his foot in the door with disenfranchised young men by presenting an slightly-above-entry-level insight, like "the global financial system is designed to prevent poor people from getting rich and to prevent rich people from getting poor"
But then, he packages it with "and I, ONLY I, can tell you how to beat The Matrix (tm) for only $20.99 a month. Don't bother reading, learning or improving yourself, because I am the only source of information you need. Also if you invite 5 other people to Hustler's University (tm) you get a share of their subscription - we call it trapezoidal marketing."

+ also he said he would fuck a tranny if it was hot, and pretends to be muslim. CUH-RINGE!!!

The chudbuds debrief will be fun no doubt, there’s that much noise coming from it I’d rather just get the cliff notes version from Null tbqh.

Not sure if MATI has ended with this song yet but look forward to possibly hearing it at the end of a show alongside the obligatory hamsters on screen

For Friday's stream when covering everything, a note on the Tommy Tooter stuff.

-He claims to be a doctor
-He has officially lost his mind
-There are rats now living in his shithovel
-He failed to show up to a court date and was most likely picked up again

Has Josh done a Tommy Tooter stream? He's one of the few lolcows I've never felt the desire to start looking into, and only one of Null's person streams can get me over that hump.
