Well Dick, you didn't have to host pedophiles on your show. You didn't have to double-down when Null said you needed to distance yourself from Digibro. You didn't have to defend 'Cuties' and lolicon. You didn't have to have utter shitcunts like MrGirl and Vito in your new guest list.

There were past episodes that had an almost cinematic quality in terms of how good the opening & closing songs worked, & how well one segment led into the next. The inclusion of superchats in the main body of the stream/podcast means that will never happen again.

Only viable solution I can really think of is to have two outro songs. Josh could use the first outro song as a chance to go get a drink or whatever, but downside is it could also make more people leave prematurely.

The problem I find with foregoing the superchat segment is that sometimes superchats can bring up interesting topics, sometimes expanding on the rest of the stream. The problem with reading them out is that 90% of them are just memes. I prefer Josh reading them at the end at least, it's much better than sprinkling them throughout. Plus if people want to throw money at you, why would you ever say no?

There are other things that could possibly be tried - I know some streams will have a superchat special once a month, but that would lead to a lot of "I don't know what that is in reference to" when superchats mention things from specific streams. I do get where you are coming from, even if I personally don't mind superchats.

Only the real top-notch Grifters move Superchats to a seperate stream/video..

Meaning they get extra ad revenue and can skip by a lot of chats as they are no longer relevant.

Mauler and the EFAP crew are masters at this and Mauler seems to have passed it on to Critical Drinker.

And their fans never seem to cotton on. That's the sort of grifting I haven't seen since...

I agree that it was more cinematic the other way but the entire podcast is a way to create revenue where it is otherwise impossible and with the new DDoS problems i really don't have an option.

It's not the people supporting the streams that are the problem. If we could have just stayed on path for DDoS there'd be no problem. But they hire and stand by a dangerous chomo so I have to pay out of pocket.

Personally, I think Null does the superchats quickly and painlessly. If you were to do anything, leave them entirely out of the more professional lolcow streams you put together, or maybe make an endcard to flash at the end of those. Some of those streams, such as Shmorky for instance, likely have about 500,000 views when everything is said and done, whereas the weekly recap streams tend to max out at around 80-100k. I know nobody asked but, hey, thought I'd throw my hat in the ring, been a long time watcher of the streams.

Dick does (or did, it's been ages since I last watched) a bunch of extra content after he "ends" the podcast each week, usually listener voicemail type of stuff. Banner showing the superchats at the time they're posted and then reading and responding to them after the outro might well be a viable option, IDK, could just have a 10-15 minute 'segment' after the outro of each episode where you loosen up a bit more, do the superchats, and banter with chat a more than when you're during the meat of the episode.

As a viewer I wouldn't mind something like that. That way all the people who mostly just want to see the advertised/expected content get what they want without bitching about the superchats, and the people who like the community and feedback aspect get what they want too as a little extra, more personable, segment.
