There's this weird idea online that anyone with a following has influence. You see it all the time with freaks calling out micro e-celebs for making off-color jokes about current events. Suddenly they're "radicalizing their audience" against whatever issue is at hand, activating some sleeper phrase to brainwash their following into vehemently defending their opinion.

Now you have these terminally-online creatures who quickly fell into this weird idea of "fame" by posting funny little pictures of dogs or epic wholesome memes they stole from Facebook. They must have this influence now too, and they have to use it for good. It's the right thing to do.
