I think it's more so just general discontent and spite for the current state of the US (as well as much of Western Europe). It's natural to embrace the alternative while humiliating the US, even if it may not have completely sound ideological reasoning behind it.

Oh and Chinaposting is funny.

The thing is tho that it doesn't seem to be just a joke and it is actually starting to become very grating and hypocritical, if not flat out retarded. It's literally like weebs who think that based Nippon is paradise because they are totally trad and reject western degeneracy (while pumping out more fucked up porn than any other country). I have never hated chinks more than I do after having to listen to Null simp for the bugmen continuously on almost every episode now. I really do want Null to go to China and experience it firsthand so he can get over his romanticized vision of it.

Though really, with how much the West has gone to shit in the past couple of decades there's next to no functional difference between a totalitarian hellhole like China or what much of the EU and US are rapidly turning into.
