Hilarious that people still use Tinder, Bumble, POF and all those swiper dating apps. They haven't been good since 2015. Plus, they're all owned by the same company that engineer the apps to give you very limited options unless you pay for the subscription.

Good show old chap. Though I only caught the last hour (around the time he started calling YMS gay but not precisely why YMS came up).

I had more but I forgot most of it. All I can remember is Josh being surprised at a left wing incel.

However we have every reason to believe most incels are left wing. They tend to not be white, and tend to favor redistribution of wealth. Which is why I think a lot of right wing people who aren’t already hateful toward women as a class find them perplexing. To a right winger it’s not a real complaint to suggest the world owes you fulfillment and self-actualization (which is the frame incels argue from, that the world is cosmically unfair to them).

I think the rest was about manipulation of data to make dating seem hopeless but I’ve lost it.

Classifying people as incels and saying they are all the same is like classifying poor people as all the same. Incels have a wide range of thought; some argue for male equality, while others argue equality is the issue. Incels are obviously an unavoidable issue, but people just write them all off as just take a shower or go outside, bro, but that's not going to fix the problems men have.

I have encountered many Incels on the internet and they are literally a hivemind that repeats the same old lines from their Incel bible over and over and over again. Not a single one of them is capable of having an original thought and not a single one can deviate from the bullshit narrative they come up with in their echo chambers enough to have a real discussion. It's literally like talking to the same person but with avatars from different animes.

The same can be said about anti-incels all they say is GO OUTSIDE or TAKE A SHOWER or the oofy doofy theory or WHO HURT YOU, but they never address the issue.

Anyway good stream. The Chief-alog of ONA is/was @Somerville Dan who got banned here for taking a side trip to Fat’s watering hole on a business trip to Milwaukee or something. He brought knitted dolls of Fatrick and Nigki. I think you banned him for that.
 
I really am starting to develop an intense dislike for anyone that uses the old cope of "just watch indie movies/old stuff bro!" I can understand why someone would want to decouple themselves from the diseased beast that is modern Hollywood, but it always reads to me as a concession that Hollywood will do whatever it wants and we should just ignore them. It's the typical boomer solution, just run away and let people that hate you take over. Yes, I know some indie movies are really good, but for every decent indie movie you could name, I could name three that are pretentious, undercooked, incomprehensible to anyone other than the writer, and clearly suffering from a lack of budget. And if you think for a second indie movies are immune to lefty mindviruses, you're dead wrong. At best, they're just a little bit better at hiding the poison pill in a piece of cheese than Hollywood is. Nothing wrong with watching indie movies, but the fact is there's just some things you can't do on an indie movie budget. Hollywood gatekeeping all the money and all the influence doesn't cease to be an issue just because some French guy shot a film in his basement for $5000.

Oh, and everything I just said is completely applicable to the people that do the same but with the gaming industry. Sometimes I just want to play a Cawadooty or a Halo, and the fact is your plucky little team of five neckbeards cannot deliver a comparable experience to a competently made big budget game.
