They are used, and came from lock down drills used in a myriad of situations where a bunch of kids running around chaotically does not improve them. Like animals getting loose in a school building. Crazed parent looking to abduct their kid that they share custody for. The retard shelters and bulletproof backpacks are what you are thinking of. Those are advocates wasting tax dollars for publicity stunts

I would advise against this. I know WrangleStar is coming from a good place but you should pay for your water. I think legally, water itself is the property of the people and can’t be held or sold by an agency. But water companies don’t sell the water as a product, they sell the service of pumping the water, cleaning the water, pressurizing it, and conveying it using their pipes.

Then again, I don’t know why WS didn’t just build a private well. Kinda defeats the purpose of living off the grid.

The water company is the government or a government granted monopoly, which is the same thing.

While I resent them for paying for giving cash wellfare out of the general fund while maintaining critical infrastructure with "use fees", I agree you should generally pay your water bill. However we are getting to crazy times, and if they start trying to smoke people out of their neighborhoods by turning off utilities, or deciding your water bill is now $500/month? Concrete time.

Sure, general lock down drills are important, just like fire or tornado drills. But i would go so far as to say putting any kind of "active shooter" gloss on them serves no useful purpose and only serves to - at best, traumatize children on accident.

Not just schools but a lot of big corporations do similar drills as “Run, Fight, Hide”. I have to tone down my power levels and not say Shoot them with my gun” because despite not having any sign up for no firearms at the office I know every is going to shit a brick and fire me when I say I conceal carry at the office. Shit a coworker shit a brick when I handed them my pocket knife once.
