I'm not sure about toxoplasmosis but I have heard that the bacterium related to Cat scratch fever (Bartonella henselae) is related to it. There's been a few cases of teenage diagnosis of schizophrenia which is pretty rare being researched further and a large percentage of them were also infected with Bartonella henselae. Once the Bartonella henselae was treated the schizophrenia symptoms dissipated.
