See what I mean? Nietzsche’s observation that beliefs are commonly affectations is dismissed by some guy with a chip on his shoulder, which is another affectation to simulate “power”.
Nietzsche isn’t a serious philosopher because his ideas were retroactively justified by the German state and the German desire to be a real country. I’d argue that German culture prior to him expressed his ideas and he merely as a sickly child unable to participate mused like an incel (which he was).

I really wish people would actually take their time to read Jewish texts within their actual religious contexts instead of parroting things that they hear from /pol/ or Church or random liberal ethnic Jews. Most Jewish laws relate to how Jews interact with other Jews and not non-Jews. It's kind of like screaming about how Danish Law makes zero sense as an American.

I have an uncle who wanted become a priest after his divorce, he was very devoted man wearing a cassock and praying with a rosary. He fell in with this small Roman Catholic group that everyone except him could see was a cult. Eventually he started to drift away from the rest of our family, he started stupid fights, saying one of my cousins was possessed, and he ended up fucking up his boss's business who was also his nephew.
It's good to try and be closer to god and follow every tradition set by him, but at the same time you shouldn't lose yourself in the purity spiral.

Late but I wanted to chime in on the topic of salvation in Christianity.

How does one become saved?

Romans !0:8-13 NKJV
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

There is no holy Abracadabra magic spell to chant nor a secret passcode that gets you into heaven. Someone who's mute isn't damned for all eternity because they can't audibly confess. It's a matter of faith and belief. The confession part, I believe at least, while important is more to strengthen your belief by verbally taking a stand, to word it very poorly. Why it's not explicitly spelled out in The Bible is an easy answer. If it were then it would turn into a legal practice that either people would nonchalantly utter as they die like in the Xavier clip, or we would twist and contort and find ways around or find ways to persecute people who didn't do it the exact right way. Faith in God and in Christ's sacrifice would be perfunctory.

To give an extreme and very shallow example: If Johnathan Yaniv/Keffals/MovieBob/Maddox/Clawshrimppy/Your favorite cow here were on their death bed and truly believed that Christ was God made flesh and died for their sins and accepted that then they would be saved. Why would they be able to do that? Because all of us have been given the same chance and God does not play favorites.

Romans 2:11 NKJV
11 For there is no partiality with God.

What God does for one he will do for another. In the story of the crucifixion of Christ there are two thieves on either side of Jesus. One mocks Jesus. The other acknowledges that he deserves this fate but Jesus does not. The second thief asks to please remember him to which Jesus accepts him and says "today you will be with me in paradise"

Luke 23:39-43
39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, [j]“If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” 42 Then he said [k]to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Now would those people in the extreme example actually do that? As they are now, I highly doubt it. Salvation is a change of heart and I don't believe the examples I gave would let themselves go through that change. In their sudden last moments, is a person who has cursed God, denied Him, and made themselves the God of their own life really gonna go "Oh no! I better turn to the sky daddy that I never believed in so I can get into a Heaven that I never believed existed"? No. Even someone who was on the fence for years about God is not going to be in the state of mind to think about how to get saved while their bleeding out, assuming they are afforded the luxury of having the time to think. That's another good reason to not wait till the end because you might not even recognize the end coming.

The other thing that was brought up was works. You cannot buy your way into God's grace. You can not go Super Saint 3 and feed the entire world, miraculously heal cancer patients, clothe the poor, house the homeless, and have God go "Stellar work there sport. You're in." We CANNOT make it under our own power.

Isaiah 64:6 NKJV
But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like [a]filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away.

Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

There is bit of scripture that says "faith without works is dead."

James 2:26 NKJV
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

What that means is that there should be some evidence of your faith, a put your money where your mouth is kinda thing. This is also a good way to tell charlatans from the real deal.

Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Jesus fully acknowledges that people will try to buy their way into Heaven and warns them of what their fate is going to be.

Matthew 7:22-23 NKJV
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I really hope that I got my ideas and points across. I hope it helps.

The point of contention is that 2nd Temple Judaism does not exist anymore. That’s the common spiritual ancestor of modern day Christians and Jews. The autistic argument people are now making is do Christian’s violate the Law as modern Jews see it.

The argument with Christian’s is that the extrapolation by the Jewish authorities was retarded. They made avoiding breaking laws (which there was always away to cleanse yourself) into a beast of its own. Also that the Sanhedrin at the time was corrupt and didn’t tend to their own people.

Any small group has potential for serious problems, and it can be damn hard to keep yourself out of the purity spiral. It's sadly repeated time and time again.

If you want to argue theology then sure, but these arguments about Jews don't sound like arguments between denominations or theologies, they just turn into outright hate. I mean regardless Judaism is the backbone of the Christian faith so at a MINIMUM they still believe in God and aren't doing anything wrong, unlike many other people like pagans and what not.

Also I can tell you that the major issue Jews have with Christians are the depictions of Christ. The Old Testament is filled with rules and laws against ideology. And for many Jews (put aside the teachings of Jesus or whatever) the mere image of him on the cross or whatnot is to them idol worship. For them if Jesus is God (or part of him) then you should not have images of him, you should treat him like how the Muslims treat Muhammad (no images). Finally it is important to remember Judaism is simply at it's core the law for a country of people (this being the Jews) and like law everywhere there are a variety of different opinions and interpretations, so its quite hard and unfair to paint them all in a broad brush. These aren't Catholics.

This religious talk is just the retarded political anon’s M.O. applied to religion— trying to find the most superficially cool and powerful (sounding) position they can.

It’s actually very similar to AF’s Christ is Kang jouissance. With the same central mistake. Having maxed-out “right wing beliefs” is not going to make you powerful or even an asset to right wing politics because beliefs are at best a codification of your own nature and often a cope for who you really are. It’s entirely a social-jockeying phenomenon. Read Nietzsche.
I have read Nietszche. Do I need to do a personal library tour? He makes the same mistake as every other modern philosopher, he believed in the theory of religious-moral progression by Sir Edward Burnett Tylor. All of them do, Nietzsche, Evola, Marx, Hegel, Heidegger. It isn't their fault, it was just accepted as unquestioned truth among academics of the time. His entire theory is based of off Sir Edward Burnett Tylor's theory, without it, it has no premise to build off of.

But they don't believe in God in two ways. The first being look at the percentage of Jews who are atheistic, then look at those who claim to be of the Jewish religion too and know that a percentage of those are into Kabbalah/talmud nonsense in which they believe that each ethnic jew is a fraction of God and they acknowledge and knowingly worship themselves believing they are God. Second, "Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well." John 2:23-24 This is a FOUNDATIONAL doctrine of Christianity. Like you can't be a Christian if you deny this concept, so necessarily, if a group comes and says "We have the Father, only we deny the son." Then to accept that is to refute your own Christianity.

@Ralph Barnhardt "Johnathan Yaniv/Keffals/MovieBob/Maddox/Clawshrimppy/Your favorite cow"
Rest of your post checks out, but unfortunately for them many lolcows, in this list: Yaniv and Keffals, are forever excluded from salvation. There are two unforgivable sins and one of them is suicide. Christ himself even said. "And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin." Luke 17:1-2 If you look into the meaning of this verse he is saying that it would be better for you to commit one of the unforgivable sins and desecrate your body by not observing proper burial rites, then for you to harm a child or bring about the circumstances in which they become sinners. Yaniv and Keffals have caused a lot of harm to children, some of which they attempted, some of which they got away with. Not sorry but Pedos and those who harm children, which quite a few lolcows do, are beyond forgiveness by what we know theologically.

Sounds like an interesting watch, can you link it?
He mentions it in this video of his series where he discusses theology while playing Minecraft:

It’s kinda funny that as soon as he starts talking about the subject you’re interested in, he gets cut off ‘cuz someone put a bunch of chickens in his Minecraft church.

Note that the totally real goys trying to say Christianity is just Judaism+ can't summarize why without a post long enough to fill a new book of the Talmud.
Did you actually read it? By the way the guy's Jewish and explaining his take on the faith in a pretty reasonable manner.

There is a Christian YouTube channel I watch called Redeemed Zoomer and in one of his videos he made a good point that in the period since Christ, Judaism has essentially developed itself in opposition to Christianity.
I took a look at that channel and it's beyond retarded and wrong in many places.

That's not at all true. Jews don't care about Christians, the problem is that Chrstians care about Jews.
Now THAT is a flat out lie. If they were indifferent to Christians why genocide them all in the Bar Kokhba revolt?
If they didn't care why, including in the video i posted before and now, do Jews harrass and attack Christians who come to pilgrimage/do tourism/do humanitarian work/journalism/practically anything in Israel?
