A few episodes ago, Jersh mentioned that he was considering getting someone to redo his background in 3d, or something similar. I was bored and wanted to take a crack at it, mostly to see what I could do with GLSL + Godot.

Bonus feature: it changed appearance when muted and unmuted in OBS, via obs-websockets (you need to set the password to just 'password' on it but that shouldn't pose too much of an issue).

Here's a demo of it in unmuted, muted, unmuted again, and donation mode.

If there's any interest, I can tweak it more. Both the source and some precompiled binaries are in the archive, but hopefully we've all learned the lesson about binaries from the Minecraft mod incident.

You know I started watching Oz recently. In that show one of the characters muses that; because goldfish can only remember things that occurred up to 30 seconds in the past, their only memory of their life will be of them dying. I don't know whether that's really true or not, but watching Rekeita read the same Anime Sucks Cope and Seeth donation 7 times kind of reminded me of that. Imagine before you die, the only thing your addled brain can conjure up is a superchat message for $5 asking you to look at a picture of a grotesque ai generated image and to give your thoughts on it. I wonder if that's what hell is like?

The poor man explains his predicament in this segment of the video (though he may do so in other segments as well — it's been a while since I last saw the documentary, and I don't have the time to re-watch the whole thing as of now).

I've never watched the TV-series Oz, and so I know nothing of the character you describe, but regardless, he's for all intents and purposes dead already, if what mr. Wearing says is any indication (which it arguably should be) at least.

One thing that stands out to me about Rekieta after being a captive audience to his stream is how unfunny his humor is. I love a racist joke as much as the next person here but he makes them all the time and just babbles on about nothing. Theres little relevance of the joke to any of the content too. He doesn’t know when to stop and when its not funny anymore.

It was word association, he just kept rambling while selecting one word from the previous ramble to continue to "riff" off of. The best comedy tends to be brief, as brief as possible to make the joke and move on - the fact he has been reading off notes for some of his "bits" shows he does not have what is needed to be a comedian, unless it the LA-based variety.

Does anyone have an archive of today's MATI?

Sorry I fell asleep during the superchat segment plus my computer is starting to give up the ghost so processing is taking 2.5 hours at least. Should be up on YouTube soon. Kick and Twitter both have a processed VoD available immediately after the stream, VK takes a little bit longer, Rumble after that, Odysee is next day usually. Not sure about Telegram but I imagine it is also available after stream or soon after.

I think I can interpret Riketa’s comments on the judge.

He had someone he knows have a contract dispute of some sort with a contractor at their house (party b). Party B hired a sub, something happened with the sub (party C) and it ended up in court with that judge presiding. Riketa told the person he knows (party A) that common lawl means there’s no contract and the judge didn’t rule that way and didn’t let riketa inject himself at the last minute.

That’s my interpretation.
