Part of my motivation with this stuff is to try and legitimize the site more. I'm deliberately using my resources to spearhead things which will cement that the Kiwi Farms is an entity that exists within legal boundaries, does good work, and has the ability and wherewithal to find information when most people don't want to.

This is a massive reason as to why most therapy and all SSRIs are a predatory sham industry when it comes to depression. Zombie pills and empty reassurance won't resurrect your dead child, unrape you, turn your husband into the man he was pretending to be, give you the resources to leave his ass, repair your mangled body, make you unsee the abyss of mankind or erase the horrors of war. The same fuckheads who give literal meth to children and call it "medicine" tell people that drugs are bad, unless you buy them in a little orange bottle with approved permission, then you should be stigmatized and treated like a nut for not doing drugs. Believing that drugs can solve real depression is just as stupid as believing that we have an off switch like some shit out of the Vampire Diaries that somehow works for sorrow and not anger.
Depends on which med, what dose, what age, what duration, I'd wager. Taking that shit for years at a time while your brain is still forming, it's impossible not to royally fuck something up, probably permanently. Look at what's happening to people who were exposed to other forms of serotonin/dopamine abuse that didn't even involve drugs during their formative years. Look at the ipad kids. Our brains aren't fully matured until 25, and it's expected for a massive portion of kids around 15 to be on that shit with no plan to wean them off.
I apologize if I was sounding far too general, I've been referring to the industry in terms of the narrow topic of depression.
I certainly wish more people would credit the Farms for the work done on the Monkey torture stuff and on exposing zoosadists in general. That is Kiwis devoting time to engage with communities that are so horrific they're practically urban legend and bringing them to the attention of law enforcement. Just one headline about that would challenge the narrative about the Farms enormously.
