"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Null should post dollar amounts for various games and collect money orders with the game written on it.

Once the total hits that number designated; he buys and plays it.

Todays Mad at the Internet October 18, 2024 has been archived to YouTube.

In today's case, you might want to edit out/censor the part where Josh says "if you don't want to watch the Bossmanjack segment, put a gun to your head and pull the trigger," some tranny is going to report it and damage the episode continuity, if not your whole channel.

EDIT: that was fast, I hope it was voluntary from advice & not an accurate prediction.

I think the talk about "nips & gooks" is relatively safe, but in these trying times you never know. SLURS! DEHUMANIZATION! DEPLATFORM HATE SPEECH!

@Null The reason your picture looks like shit on any other device than your pixel is because it took it in HDR mode. What this means is that it's in the DCI-P3 colorspace (more color resolution) and has additional metadata in the EXIF which explains which pixels are supposed to be brighter than SDR (higher than 200 nits). However, it also *lies* in the exif that it's in the sRGB colorspace so everything looks off to any software that can't process HDR/P3. I know this because my wife just bought a Pixel 8 and I've played around with it's video capture, only to notice it also does HDR photography.

I don't know yet how to properly handle those files, I know that Preview in MacOS *can* properly decode the file, but Immich which we use for photo managment can't *yet*
Maybe with this info you'll be on the right track. The only additional info I can give you is that you'll need to tonemap this file to SDR using the Hable algorithm, or alternatively you'll need to upgrade your hardware to have a full HDR capable pipeline

If you want to change those settings, in Gcam you open the settings gear > More Settings > Advanced, and scroll down.

People like to shit on changes like these & yeah it's annoying the intended users of the site, but on the other hand when CAPTCHA was introduced it was to combat autists who spammed automated jailbait/CP image dumps with weird text like "thanks op i cum so hard it land on cat, she hiss at penis" or something. The thread-flooding/derailment improved 1000% overnight.

The best we can hope for is something like circa December 2016, yeah it's full of election retards but at least it's people that kind of belong doing victory laps and laughing, and far less of the paid Shareblue disruptors.

Yeah he needs to unselect P3 and UltraHDR if he doesn't want to deal with it. But this won't help with the picture he already took. I have a sneaking suspicion that he doesn't realise it's HDR, and he wishes he could have the same wow effect on a SDR screen but obviously can't

I always forget that Serbia was previously Yugoslavia. Aka the birthplace of the Yugo Car
I don't know why everyone hates on that car it is the most utilitarian car ever built I've never met a Serbian man who doesn't like that carand has good memories of growing up in Yugoslavia driving around the thing when they stole it from their parents.
Is it lacking features hell yeah does it get you from point A to point B absolutely one of the guys that go to church with still drives 1 to this day he's a 70 year old bosniak

@Null since I didn't have a single instance of buffering, nor do I remember any complaints during today's stream, I wondered if you fold the what-went-right data into your troubleshooting tool set.

From what I’ve heard they’re decent shit boxes but zero were ever delivered assembled correctly. Of the dealer fixed everything first they weren’t bad (weren’t great).
