Neil Gaiman, a novel/comic writer (Sandman, Good Omens, Coraline, American Gods) who spent his entire career writing quirky BPD manic pixie dream girl characters to lust over, just had additional allegations drop that he sought out and sexually abused vulnerable women. His wife was likely complicit, although they are now in the middle of divorce/custody hearings.
This was the lead in one of his first breakout comics:
Surprise, he’s a sex pest that sought out emotionally and psychologically vulnerable women like the above.
Allegations include taking on a fan of his wife’s as a “nanny” then proceeding to immediately get in the bath with her. Supposedly he made advances and had intercourse with her while his 4 year old child played on an iPad in the same room, talking with his son during the sex act. I think they mention forced anal penetration as well, as well as him pissing in his hand and making her smell it.
There’s like 5+ women with similar stories, including a tenant on a property of his that claims he demanded sexual favors in order for her to keep living at the property. Him and his wife had an open marriage and were BDSM enthusiasts, which is at the root of a lot of the allegations.
His response doesn’t specifically deny anything and is essentially; “I thought it was all consensual”.
He is a pro-trans, generic Twitter liberal, jumped down JK Rowling’s throat etc. The kicker is the following quote from MeToo:

Those requests are terrible, if Josh talks about Elon Musk, it will be to cover him beefing with Asmongold over allegations that Elon Musk had chinese farmers playing his Path of Exile 2 account for him and that he stole Asmongold's twitter checkmark and monetization Gaming tag for making him look bad. Nothing is more serious in today's political world than stolen Gamer valor. Germany is only relevant as a server/time zone to play Path of Exile in.

You're referring to the verse about tying a mill stone around their necks, correct? It has a double meaning. It's talking about both people who are young in age and using the nietivty of children for people young in the faith of the Lord. So to Jesus, people who are pastors and preachers or just normal people (e.g. every televangelist) that exploit people for their own gain to lead them astray from the faith are basically no different than pedofiles.

I can't speak on any film/TV adaptations, but another of the main cast in Sandman is Delirium, a rape victim. She was called Delight and depicted as a whimsical little girl before getting raped. Then became mentally ill with an undercut.
