Persons with advocacy organizations focused on debanking may be interested in the proposed Financial Integrity and Regulation Management (FIRM) Act. One-pager here, full text here.

The FIRM Act will:

• Eliminate all references to reputational risk as a measure to determine the safety and soundness of regulated depository institutions.
• Eliminate the Federal banking agencies’ ability to promulgate new rules or guidance that use reputational risk to supervise or regulate depository institutions.
• Require the Federal banking agencies to report to Congress on their elimination of reputational risk as a component of the supervision of depository institutions.

This bill is narrowly tailored so that removal of this subjective factor does not affect quantitative supervisory measures (e.g. concentration risk, liquidity risk, etc.).

I can't find it on the upcoming legislative calendar or on Congress' own site, maybe it's not officially on the record yet. Or maybe they're slow updating, the press release is dated today.

The bill's text does what the bullet points claim. But it doesn't address people getting debanked because they're in a "high fraud category" of business. That's what the crypto bros were complaining about before the election, and I think Null got hit by this too. Reputational risk was the excuse they gave out back in the 2016 era.
