"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

The rules of Stripe is to enforce the enshittification of the country and the enslavement of all American citizens. That's why it's a bad thing. The purpose of a system is what it does, and Stripe makes everyone's lives worse by strangling people it doesn't like out of their earned income.
Yes, to America, debanking is a bigger issue than the rules on Kiwi Farms. But you're not the President of the United States, you're the owner of Kiwi Farms. You're being a hypocrite and you're using the issue of debanking to deflect from that.

Your "right" to access a private gossip web zone is different to your right to access global commerce and banking you stupid nigger.
If you don't have a right to speak your mind on Kiwi Farms, that's fine. But stop acting like faggots by calling it "the last bastion of FREE SPEECH"

You're a retard, fuck off. Sorry I wasted my time with this disingenuous faggotry.

I guess now might be a good time to mention that subbing "i" for the username in the url retains replies, something I found out from:
For tweets you can try replacing the account name with "i" to grab more context (I do this from the Archive.today page instead of using the bookmarklet I'm clicking all day every day). Or maybe one of the Nitter instances still works.

Patriot Act and subsequent KYC + powers that have sprung from that have resulted in some of the gayest shit imaginable. It has enabled the middle manager to debank "objectionable" people while failing to tackle the issue these powers were introduced to deal with i.e. criminal activity, since criminals know how these things work and will preemptively hide such activity to avoid any such checks.

For the people who can't understand this, I'll put it in forum terms - it's like a thousand mods are viewing every post you made for anything that might be ban-worthy and when they finally get you on something there is no admin to object to, no-one to overturn the decision. You just have to suffer, even socking won't work. But instead of forum posts it's money... you know, the shit you need to live.

Whenever someone on an internet forum starts complaining about free speech, the inevitable result of humoring them is an increasing number of annoying users who just post whatever stupid shit they want, and ends up with people complaining because they get banned for spamming BBC porn/CSAM material

Hello Joshy. Something to consider.
Some sort of opposition leader is on a BBC talk/news program and the hosts nag at her for 4 minutes shocked that she thinks she can talk about current issues without watching the Netflix show Adolescence. When she tries to explain that she doesn't need fiction to talk about reality, they get offended that she offhandedly compares it to a different TV show. At one point, one of the hosts refers to the show as a documentary. It's legitimately infuriating to listen to. She's trying to point out that there's problems with phones in schools, rape gangs, misogyny and you don't solve them by watching some fictional show, and they just act like she's out of touch because she won't waste her time watching it to "become informed" about the issues she already knows exist.

With the whole Adolescence thing, I'm starting to believe that a large percentage of British people are literally unable to distinguish between fiction and fact.

@Null Please start the stream with this banger for this man that deserves ALL the love and PAW-sitivity even if he's a little dented.
Already a better king than Phil I'll also accept it as the Outtro.

In last week's British suffering segment, Null talked about Birmingham's rat problem, caused by garbage collectors going on strike. But there is an even funnier back story to this - the root cause is apparently a massive gender equality lawsuit.

Bankrupt Birmingham City Council agrees huge equal pay deal after £760m dispute

The Labour-run council declared itself effectively bankrupt in September last year after identifying hundreds of millions of pounds worth of equal pay liabilities

The dispute relates to staff in female-dominated roles, such as teaching assistants, who have historically been underpaid in relation to those in male-dominated areas of the council, such as waste collection.
Basically, the insane British legal system decided that it was illegal to pay garbage men more than the women working comfy office jobs. This bankrupted the Birmingham City Council, which could not afford to pay all of their low-skill employees the same wage as the garbage men, who got a premium for the unpleasant, physically intensive work. The council responded by trying to cut the pay of garbage men to near the minimum wage (source: https://perma.cc/PWU9-8Q3R). This caused the union to take action, leading to the strikes, the overflowing garbage, and the biblical plague of rats. This context is of course completely absent from mainstream media coverage, such as this Washington Post article that never even mentions it (https://archive.fo/etnes).
