Essentially, the Switch 2 is shaping up to be the single most anti-consumer-friendly release by Nintendo to date. Not only will the games on the Switch 2 be outrageously, expensive and excessively monetized, but it will set a precedent that other large game publishers are sure to follow leading to higher prices across the board for all games.

Which is true, and they have since raised prices for all Switch 2 peripherals across the board as well.

And the most pathetic thing about all this is, because it's Nintendo, they will probably get away with it. They always get a fucking pass because good old Nintendo could do no wrong and there are enough nigger-cattle-retards that will simply bend over and take that big old Nintendick right up the ass.

Here are notes that you can use if you're covering The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered situation.

I believe the key appeal of the game besides nostalgia bait that got millions of people to buy/pirate the game is the announcement and the date it was released.

Never has there been the first official announcement/trailer of a game where you read the date that the game is already out to the public. It got people excited and quickly buy the game, even though observers has stated it's an uncanny remake that misunderstood the intentions of the original Oblivion. That and requiring 119 more GB than the original Oblivion + DLCs (6 GB in total) because of the Unreal Engine and mostly that game devs don't even optimize their games properly, as well as the $60 cost.

People soon noticed some "changes" made in the character creator such as gameplay differences between sex in the original is now changed to differences between origin (which city are you from) and using "identity" instead of "race" to describe the Elder Scrolls' fantasy races (CORRECTION: just found out it is only for one instance when you leave the sewers - the rest of the remastered version, including the character creator refers it to "race" - source: RPGHQ)



Most of all, using the game industry standard of "body type 1/body time 2" instead of "male/female". It is obviously troon shit because they want to be inclusive to trans people by not mentioning "male" and "female."



It's a simple text fix, so modders took the opportunity to try to restore "male"/"female" in the character creator. Since the most popular mod site is Nexus Mods, they soon uploaded their mods there. However, Nexus Mods is ran by ultra-liberal-gooner admins who are the most pettiest folks you can meet on the Internet, so of course, they not only banned any mod that tries to change it back, but also the mod authors that uploaded it.

Ultraporing, mod author of "Body Type Remover" and a Nexus user of 15 years, was banned with the mod disabled. EDIT: Ultraporing stated that he tried to reason with the admins, to no avail. The right-most image that is under this is Ultraporing's DM to the Nexus Mods, posted in RPGHQ as a new user to vent out his frustration.

Another Nexus user Killercritic reuploaded the mod onto Nexus as "OG Body Type" and it became the most endorsed mod on the site for Oblivion Remastered, before the user was banned and mod was disabled.



Kiwi user @Frofo Baggis was able to download his mod and upload it to the Kiwi Farms for people to download. Another Kiwi user @TulpaTownW uploaded the mod onto DEGMods, a third-party mod site that is marketed as a better and less censorious alternative to Nexus Mods.

However, Nexus' actions ultimately caused a Streisand effect, where YouTubers, influencers, and grifters all came together to discuss the situation, bringing more unwanted attention to them.



Ultimately, to stave off the negative attention, the jannies at Nexus Mods reversed their decision and allowed a re-uploaded version of Ultraporing's mod, 7H3LaughingMan's "Body Type Selector," to remain on the site. HOWEVER, there is a catch. The original modders of the body type mod such as Ultraporing, Killercritic, and others, are still banned by Nexus Mods till this day. To reflect their pettiness, the Nexus jannies also lied that Ultraporing's goal as to incite drama and to create inflammatory content even though Ultraporing's DM mentions otherwise.

Ultraporing's response on RPGHQ

This isn't the first time Nexus Mods kept a mod but banned its author. There was a mod for the RPG Baldur's Gate 3 where you get to race-swap your only black companion to other races. The admins reviewed the mod and kept it but banned the author Fesstrom.

Also, Ana Valens, a MtF tranny who wrote an article detailing the victory against Kiwi Farms during the deplatforming of the Farms, wrote a VICE News article on the modding shitshow by those evil right-wing chud modders if you're interested in reading smug cringe.

So to conclude the story:

In addition, there are better The Elder Scrolls stuff to look forward to than a bloated uncanny remake, and they take way less disk space. There is a mod for Morrowind (1.2 GB) called Tamriel Rebuilt (in development since 2004) which expands the game to include the full province of Morrowind instead of the vanilla-only island of Vvardenfell; the team is releasing an expansion released on 1 May that will include the city of Narsis, which is Morrowind's 2nd largest city. In addition, if you already have Skyrim (12 GB), you can anticipate a remake of Oblivion in development using Skyrim's engine called Skyblivion.

EDIT: There's also a thread on Nexus Mods but it's been stuck in Prospering Grounds, so it'll be great if you invite users to create an updated OP on the stream.
