One is how much money a dev like Ubisoft can spend on a game and come out with mediocre garbage that doesn't even look all that amazing. Especially when you compare their budget to indie devs who seem to come up with similar visuals and much better content for a fraction of the price. It really makes me wonder if major devs are just stealing money from the company by paying fake 3d artists or something.

The other one is how sticky game prices are. Theyve been in the $50-60 range since the 90s and that was waaaay more money back then.

Also, who the fuck wants a switch 2 anyway? The switch 1 had like 10 games that couldn't be better experienced on PC.

There was an interview with the lead dev on POE2 where he stated it is mostly an American problem when it comes to the ballooning costs. He attributes this to the places outside California having lower salaries and just being an efficient company whereas a place like Ubisoft is not. Included is a video of where all of the money from these companies is going (it is not towards game development).

If for whatever reason null, you feel you cant get around to actually playing Kiwi doom 2, a review for it was made which pretty comprehensively goes over the whole mod in case you want a better idea of its contents.

Ending message is also pretty wholesome, I'd encourage you at least to see the very last 5 minutes since its kinda sweet. I also think you'd enjoy the final boss. Spoilers below, fucking duh.

Like I GET people hating anime, I GET being a shut in is "LE BAD" The reason I got mad was neither of those things, it was how this entire thing is just More zoomer/tranny/politics people co-opting of the 2000s Internet culture visuals for depression quest but with trannies tier content. You may or may nor recognize these characters from old imageboard/forum/YTMND/early youtube era memes. That's a big time frame, and I think that says something but I'm not sure what. I still see them sometimes. I not only got reminded of the existence of them and this music a few years back, but I also was reminded or first found out (long distant ass memory) that they were actually mascots for some random fucking company's game store... named GAMERS.

Unrelated to the anime or troonshit Around that specific timeframe that I found out about GAMERS again a few years back, it was due to me looking up used game stores due to prices getting fucky for used games post rona and instead of sane prices I instead found somehow at some point in the USA around the 2000s there were 3 different small gaming store chains named GAMERS, and that japanese one with those mascots was one of them bizarrely. it had like a few stores on the west coast and then shut down due to the recession in 2008 or 2010 from the trivia I remember. No I'm too tired right now to look it up. Just know that the 2000s were somehow a golden age for gaming to the point we had not one, not two, but THREE DIFFERENT GAME STORE CHAINS NAMED GAMERS. Maybe we can have something like that someday again, but it's gonna be a long time if this eternal current year keeps chugging and subverting everything to be about shallow politics or tranny depression.
