I believe that was OPs mistake, he just retweeted someone else's post after Stonetoss' tranny suicide comic this past week.

Let's see you charter a boat 5 times before we think about "buying." Do you have the will to go on the water five times? Most people are done after one or two days.
 
Of course you can afford a boat. There will be any number of beat up old heaps that haven't seen the water in decades. Usually unfinushed projects and restorations, you can pick them up for next to nothing, the owners are usually desperate to get rid of them, a few hundred dollars and maybe a tire for the rusty old trailer.
You then spend thousands of dollars and hours working on it, till you too park it up under a tree and it slowly returns to nature, to sell to the next sap in 7-10 years
