💰 Grifter "Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Maybe if you're suicidal or something but if you're not, keep a gat piece close at all times.
I keep one near my bed (not out in the open) incase I hear someone try to break in. It’s a Glock with a 32 round magazine filled with hollowpoints. 32 rounds might be overkill but you never know with home burglars

That’s like the pollar opposite of Josh who can go from zero to 100 at a drop of a hat because some random chatter had a different opinion on cheese.
Yeah, the MATI format is unironically closer to 2018 Killstream than 2018 Metokur since it's a mix of prepared segments about politics and e-drama, the main difference is not having cohosts but Josh even used to do call-ins like Ralph. Jim back then was very off-the-cuff and aloof.

The outro song on your latest episode has fully converted me to the country music cause. Most of that album is pretty good actually.

If this week’s MATI is running short I really recommend you do a commentary on this new EWU video on Justin Mohn. It’s short at 17:00 minutes, disturbing and hilarious.

It's overstated. IMO the only legit cases of Jimwalking were Gator and that one furry Coyote Lovely (just listen to this). Meanwhile looking outside of the Sektur the amount of blatant AVGN and Nostalgia Critic clones back in the day was beyond and it was way more obvious. Doug himself was accused of being an AVGN clone ffs.
In my opinion, people only care if you're a bad or unentertaining [Jim / other big entertainer skin]-walker, IE Gayduh. As it's been said, mimicry is the highest form of flattery, for better or worse.
Isn’t Jim’s whole shtick that he’s all stoic and even keeled no matter what the topic is? That’s like the pollar opposite of Josh who can go from zero to 100 at a drop of a hat because some random chatter had a different opinion on cheese.
Historically, Jim was rather even keeled on a lot of things. The obvious exceptions to that, to call it a rule may be exaggerating but whatever, was whenever topics relating to harm of children arose. The video on that Dentist that pulled children's teeth without anesthesia, the argument with I think it was Nick Bates, and his chastising of Crackets come to mind regarding a few instances where Jim lost his cool. There was also his COVID streams, however, I will not lie, I don't remember jackall about those. Although, I will say, post COVID/2020 Jim doesn't quite feel the same as the Jim pre 2020.

Jim was funny, but he was always overrated. Then I found out he's a riceburner and his illness thing reached munchy levels of annoying. He's irrelevant now and I've never understood the fanaticism that surrounds him.

Fun fact: Somewhat contrary to expectation, the three solid "right-wing" voting blocs in America are white guys, orthodox Jews, and injuns.
Are white men really a solid right-wing voting block? I thought they were like 60/40.

Here is some funny Reddit drama:

All of this revolves around and artist named Hayden Clay. Hayden Clay is a popular pooster on reddit's /r/art subreddit. He recently made a post about one of his pieces of art, and when enquired where to find more of his work in the comments, linked to his personal website where he sells prints. This is a violation of the subreddit's rules, but one you think could be ironed out in a few DMs. Wrong. It devolved into a thermonuclear reddit janny meltdown resulting in the entire mod team of /r/art locking down the subreddit and walking away from their yearly reddit janny salaries of $0.00 dollars (they also banned Hayden from the subreddit and deleted his entire post history).

Here is the Mod Poost (Archive) in /r/art.

As well as an excellent Summary Poost (Archive) with screenshots of the messages that caused the spurgpocalypse.

Moistcritikal also did a video about the situation:
