Non-American here, who can even afford this? Like what's the target audience here?
Depends on your definition of “afford.” For some that comes down to if your credit card can accept it. Sometimes retailers allow you to spread it across multiple cards.

If she’s not doing too many concerts, you’ll get people from several states away who will go who are willing to pay those prices. Plus the way she’s going, this might be her farewell tour, even if she doesn’t know it yet.

So wait, her 'concerts' are just lip syncing now, and people are actually paying money for it?

Fuck that.

Well, the contrast is great. Lately Pam has been wearing little to no makeup in public and is being praised for it.

I came across these pictures of her few minutes ago. It's interesting to see: she doesn't look bad if you compare to today. Actually, imho she didn't look bad at all. Of course there wasn't the softness of the youth, but she was fit. Not everyone's cup of tea but you get it.
Except for her hands, which were always unfortunate, she could've continued with a good exercise routine adapted to the changes that comes with aging (like mentioned here many times before).
I know some people have always seen as a lolcow of some sorts, but I grew up with her songs through my relatives, and at this time I though "well, she is aging well!". Nowadays, I look at her and wonder how she would be if she just accepted that time just does its thing.
It will just remain on a "what if" scenario.

This person has morphed into legitimately the most terrifying looking woman I think I have ever seen.

I just looked up Pamela Anderson's age (56) and pictures of her when she was young. She has definitely had facial surgeries starting decades ago. Her face is kind of wonky and I think it's from the surgeries and not just fillers or whatever. Having said that, aside from the slight weirdness I think she looks quite good for her age.

Madonna looks scuffed next to Pam but to be fair she's like 10 years older than her.

The blonde hair and no eyebrows make her look washed out. I feel if she penciled in some brows and mascara she would look a little better.

And it looks like she's done another big chop on her hair, she needs to lay off the heavy bleach and toner work. It's extremely damaging to your hair over time, and she will end up in wigs all the time if she doesn't stop.

She was naturally lovely in her first PB pictorial, wish she would go back to that look.

I think what contributes more to the wonky effect is her nose job and eyebrows. She has admitted in an interview that she should've worn more sunscreen in her youth .
Aside from that, like mentioned before, she would benefit a lot from going back to brunette and fixing her eyebrows (if there is any fixing after decades of plucking it to oblivion). But overall she looks fine. She looks human.

She admitted a while back she NEVER used sunscreen, and it shows. She looks like she's in her 70s here.

Regardless of what you think of Pam or Madge, imo one thing seems clear: Madonna looks dead-eyed, like she's in the midst of some "...but backstage, things were falling apart" VH1 segment. Pam looks like she still has a heart and soul

Yes; her face looks washed out because that the focal point of her body I was always staring at.

Madonna Finally Responds to Ridiculous Lawsuit Over Concert’s Late Start Time

Madonna and Live Nation have finally responded to the frivolous lawsuit filed by two fans who were upset that one of her Celebration shows started over two hours late.

In the lawsuit, concertgoers Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden accused the singer and the concert giant of “false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive trade practices” after Madonna’s concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on December 13, 2023, began after 10:30 p.m. instead of the advertised 8:30 p.m. start time.

The delay, in their legal opinion, served as a breach of the ticket-buying contract between Madonna and the concertgoers who “had to get up early to go to work,” the lawsuit stated. The situation was exacerbated, they added, because the late finish meant “limited public transportation” and surge pricing on ride-sharing apps.

Despite the lawsuit being ridiculous, Madonna and Live Nation finally got around to issuing a statement about it Wednesday, nearly a week after it was filed.

“The shows opened in North America at Barclays in Brooklyn as planned, with the exception of a technical issue December 13th during soundcheck,” the statement said. “This caused a delay that was well documented in press reports at the time. We intend to defend this case vigorously.”

This isn’t the first time Madonna has been sued over later-than-expected start times, as a different “fan” similarly filed a lawsuit in 2019 after a Madame X show in Miami began hours after its original start time; the lawsuit was ultimately dismissed.

tbh for $2000+ a ticket, i'd sue too.
