I came across these pictures of her few minutes ago. It's interesting to see: she doesn't look bad if you compare to today. Actually, imho she didn't look bad at all. Of course there wasn't the softness of the youth, but she was fit. Not everyone's cup of tea but you get it.
Except for her hands, which were always unfortunate, she could've continued with a good exercise routine adapted to the changes that comes with aging (like mentioned here many times before).
I know some people have always seen as a lolcow of some sorts, but I grew up with her songs through my relatives, and at this time I though "well, she is aging well!". Nowadays, I look at her and wonder how she would be if she just accepted that time just does its thing.
It will just remain on a "what if" scenario.
How old is she in these pictures? I would guess they're from 2008 or so, since Madonna looks the same as she did in her Hard Candy album, but it'd be interesting to know if I'm right or wrong.

So wait, her 'concerts' are just lip syncing now, and people are actually paying money for it?
Her concerts have been lip syncs from like the 00s, Elton John clowned on her for it back like a 100 years ago.
Lately Pam has been wearing little to no makeup in public and is being praised for it.

Wow, that's Pam!? She looks good.
Sun damage is a bitch, I wish that tanning would die off already it's so awful for fair skin. I always though she looks really good with those 90s brushed out curls, they give shape and depth to her thin bleach blonde hair. Thickening up to a natural brow with some brown toned lashes, a medium finish foundation, and a peachy lip would really complement that kind of natch look she's going for.

Fuck that.

Tbf, you can't sing and dance at the same time. Everyone who dances on stage lip syncs. Ever wonder why their live singing is indistinguishable from the radio singles?

The fact that this broad still hasn't been crucified for this yet is nauseating
The fuck? I don't think people know about this (Can't edit)

fixing her eyebrows (if there is any fixing after decades of plucking it to oblivion).
As an Older Lady, can confirm that at a certain point eyebrows cannot be recovered.

Mine were butchered via wax by Ukranian salon ladies circa 2003 and have never recovered. Just after spent two years having them meticulously recovered from the 90s by good Vietnamese salon ladies.

Moral of the story: beware your eyebrow caretakers. You can't always go back.

3 months ago Madonna starred in an advertisement for Brazilian bank Itaú after their rebranding (the project itself is really amazing) to commemorate their 100th anniversary. The title translates to "Madonna - made of future".
It seems that she received 13 million dollars for this.

Madonna accepts 'challenge' from Itaú and creates commercial for the bank's 100th anniversary campaign from scratch

Itaú Unibanco "handed over" to the North American singer Madonna the creation of the new commercial for the campaign that celebrates the bank's 100 years, which will be completed in September. The new film premieres on television this Thursday (22), and is the first in which Itaú allowed an artist to create an advertising piece from scratch for the conglomerate.

The singer chose the details and also the director of the film: Jonas Åkerlund, who directed videos such as the 1998 song Ray of Light.

In the commercial, Madonna states that her career is timeless, in line with the motto of Itaú's campaign, which looks to the future to highlight both the bank's centenary and the cultural and digital transformation it has undergone in recent years, which were increased competition in the sector.
"I think the most controversial thing I've ever done is stay. I've seen many stars appear and disappear, like shooting stars. But my light will never go out. Not everyone is coming to the future. But I am," says Madonna in the commercial.

"It was the first time that Itaú gave up signs that were very characteristic of the brand, and we did this to be faithful to its content", says the bank's Marketing Superintendent, Thaiza Akemi, in a statement. "She continues to be a pioneer in her art, her purpose and her life. This is the aspect that relates to Itaú's trajectory."

The Itaú campaign debuted in December last year, in a first commercial in which Madonna was alongside names such as Fernanda Montenegro, Jorge Ben Jor and football players Ronaldo and Marta.

Each of them has "got" a film of their own since then.
You can watch the complete video with other Brazilian celebrities here:
IMHO, I thought it was really weird to have her in this campaign. I know they wanted someone that has changed a lot throughout the years, but it would be far more interesting to have a 100% Brazilian cast.

Also, there are rumors of her doing a free show at Copacabana beach. She hasn't been in Brazil since 2012. Rolling Stones did one in 2006 and it was a huge success. Makes me wonder if she will make everyone wait 2 hours.

Madonna's getting flamed right now for calling out a wheelchair bound concert-goer for sitting down at her show. A huge nothing burger IMO, but maybe Madonna's cognition is giving one last hurrah. The media is running with this and not the other blatant vile stuff she's been up to for some reason.

It says a lot that Madge’s own fan base claim that her still doing shows at old age is not an excuse to claim that she’s getting old and needs to retire, but they will draw the line the minute she starts engaging in “ableism” with a person that has a real physical condition.

You just can’t make this up.

There's a makeup artist named Erin Parsons (lovely woman, does all the Maybelline ads) who plucked her brows so much, she ended up getting transplants from her scalp hair to her brows.
That's where I learned if you want skinny brows, shave them, and draw on the ones you want. Don't pluck them.

It was a very popular look for my mother's generation, and even some of my grandmother's. I was told very explicitly multiple times to never, ever over pluck my eyebrows, because eventually they stop growing back and you're stuck like that forever.

I remember it being huge in the 90s, but to me tweezing your brows to a pencil-thin line ages you so much.
Just keep them as neat, tweeze any strays, and you're good.

I have a permanent dent in my upper brow from back when I was like 12 and became aware that you're supposed to pluck them and went at the top part like a fucking animal.
The thin brow craze of early 00s was a crime against humanity.

I never went overboard even when it was popular. My eyebrows are very light, plucking them too high basically makes them invisible. A ways back a friend persuaded me to visit this grubby 'salon'- "They're so cheap"? Really? d'you think that there's a reason behind that?" and they waxed my eyebrows to half their usual width, handed me a fucking escoffion, and told me that this was my style now. Cows.

With or without the veil? Makes all the difference.

Yet, no matter how much you pluck those middle hairs, they always come back. *stress sigh*

I will always be so fucking glad my eyebrows were probably the last thing I was worried about at 12. Eyebrow horrorstory discussion always makes me thankful I've never done anything to mine or cared to.

A lot of shit that was fashionable in the early 00s was a crime against humanity. Sperm brows, low-rise pants, super skinny ana-chan as the only acceptable female body type. It was a dark time.
