One barnis nothing, I've watched him est Xannies like fucking sweets and wash them down with whiskey on those fucking 10 hour streams he used to do, he'd get to the state where he would fall unconcious on stream and May would poke him with stuff to see if he was still breathing.
A lot of us were waiting for the point Ralph was just going to die on stream and the last we'd see of him was when a Federale would lean over and cut off the stream after the neigbors complained about the smell.

It did seem to give him an inhuman tolerance, but I think Ralph was getting to the bottom of the tank, he was weeks away from dying on stream when it finally left him.

It seems to run the host into the ground and only leaves when it senses the potential for content to be diminishing, Chris as he was getting the cuffs put on (and I still think its crazy how the cosmos conspired to put Ralph, the perfect host, in the right place, and dressed like Chris ready for it to make the leap.

I never understood why people confused it for an honorific.
If it was it would be Chris-San, Chan is for females.
Chris will never be a woman no matter how hard he takes a box cutter to his taint.

well, Japanese honorifics aren't really based on gender, they moreso express a "role" or perception of oneself, "chan" is just a friendly or loving honorific which also has a reputation for seeming "cute" or "feminine"
theyre not actually much like english gender-based pronouns

Neat, I'm getting a crash course in Jap culture, I do appreciate the clarification though.
I've never seen "chan" used to address a male before (admittedly I don't watch much Japanese media, out side of horror movies) so I always thought it was used for females the way "san" was used for males.

That's a pretty poor recreation, I don't think it counts. Same reason Liquid Chris's paper medallion didn't curse him even though Chris really, really tried. It seems to need a directly connection to Chris somewhere in the chain. Praetor's medallions are close enough now.

Also, I think the next target is going to be Dick Masterson, since Null has challenged him to do the same ritual Rekieta did.

Bit of a tangent but there are two groups in Japanese society who refer to themselves as name-chan, small children who don't understand the Japanese system of pronouns and honorifics, and cringe worthy adult women who pretend not to, to sound cutesy. I don't think Chris was at any point aware of that but Chris constantly calling himself Chris-chan feels oddly foreshadowy in ways I can't put my finger on.

Lmao I brought up sonichu solutions a while ago in another thread! Pretty innocent and affordable 3d printed shitpost stuff based on the better quality medallions from 2014-2015 instead of the current soulless antichrist shit praetor's been sputtering out the last few years. They seem decent quality and they have a magi-chan medallion as well as a gold one on sale I've been thinking about getting for the last few years as part of the inside joke about this demon curse stuff. My theory once again here is that the way this works is less about the medallions themselves but how they are used. Anything from praetor is cursed to a high level, but the replica medallions like sonichu solutions pumps out should be safe unless a purchaser decides to bind the curse to it in a manner similar to the letter retika received from someone with a possibly fake/replica medallion. I have not seen a single case of anyone who purchased a medallion from the unofficial medallion replica makers cursed in any way so far, and I've been watching this for a good year or 2.

You may or may not have noticed everyone that has been cursed has acquired a plain style sonichu rather than any of the other sonichu adjacent characters like blachu, the chaotic combo, and magi-chan himself. (the character, not the demon, duh!) This may be an EXTREMELY important factor in all of this if the supernatural is indeed involved and it's tied to sonichu in some sense rather than just malicious entities using the medallion to curse people.
