BTW, apparently you mixed up Segovia and Kylem - the battlebond plane.
Oh okay.

Segovia there should then be made small enough it loses to Caetus,
It did anyways LMAO

If that was how bloomburrow is supposed to work,
That is how I assumed it would work because you know..that is how they portrayed it working, my fault for expecting some level of consistency.

All good, I don't blame you. What ruffles my almonds is that iit reminds me of when it was... I think the SW:Kenobi writers that talked about how annoyed they were with continuity because it kept "limiting" the writing.

It seems like the same thing with the WOTC writers. Writing is not that physically demanding of a job, it really just takes mental discipline, and yet these idiots can't even stand THAT much restraint on their already lazy job and just do "whatever" they want in stories. How dare we plebs make any request for them to practice some... creativity.

That makes no sense. You choose to write a kenobi show BECAUSE OF the continuity
Wrong, you want to write for a big franchise so you have reach over the established audience and then you make them endure your story about your totally original teenage black girl protagonist or whatever.

Double Wrong!

You write for a big franchise so you can brag about it at parties and score free drugs and booze.

Why not both?

Thanks all for contributing to my drinking problem.

How I long to burn down the west coast...

You get the question, Honka - I don't really mind the implication that the Ur-dragon's children in bloomburrow might manifest as hawk-like creatures just as I wouldn't object to angels and demons manifesting on that plane as some kind of furry variant.

The problem is that Magic explicitly established that you do NOT shrink in your example when traveling by omenpaths. You have to specifically planeswalk to "adjust" yourself to the plane.

If that was how bloomburrow is supposed to work, then the phyrexian invading Segovia there should then be made small enough it loses to Caetus, not literally remaining so tall the Serpent is a literal ankle-biter.

They are in fact 2 different planes, but I think you unintentionally made a good point and Battlebond really should have taken place on Segovia.
As much as I hate Kylem's stupid rainbow haired flavor, Segovia would have been a poor choice. Even WotC at its best would have trouble with a set where creature stats top out at 3/3. The best they could probably do for a "gimmick" plane is include it in a multiplanar set. Thing is, they did this for Aetherdrift and Muraganda (the "vanilla" plane) and considering how that set went, I wouldn't believe we'll be seeing that sort of thing for some time.

Their disdain for multiplanar things is why they don't touch Alara any more.

In slight fairness to Muraganda, Aetherdrift would've dragged down any plane. You have a gimmick plane, then you put it in a set with another gimmick (the Wacky Races schtick), then you make it share the spotlight even further with a revisit to two other planes, what else could've possibly happened? I don't necessarily think Muraganda is a strong enough concept to carry a whole set on its own, but the way they went about introducing it was probably the most retarded way possible. The premise was bad and the execution was worse. I would be genuinely astonished if they managed to make something worse than Aetherdrift, it is genuinely the worst set I've ever seen.

Their flavor text writers these days also seem to be untalented Millennials, so everything's a shitty, "quirky" Whedon-tier joke. "I can't be killed by bears!" -- Olaf the Unkillable by Bears, moments before being killed by bears.
MH3 with the jund precon comes to mind with half the something-goyf creatures. Duskmourn had this problem too, I was hoping for something like innistrad, what I got was a Stranger Things theme park with some light creepypasta references.

Oh for fucks sake...

It gets weirder than that.

Oko is Marlenes brother, not the elf side the Faerie one. He was prototype Marlene and was a aspect of Oona like she was.

He fucked off cause he hated Oona

So that means Oko was an old walker since this had to happen pre-mending. Which means if he hated Oona he could have just overthrew Oona with his godlike power.

Also him curing Marlene here is less and act of kindness and more him fixing his own fuck up because he trolled Marlene into thinking she was transforming into Oona, which made Rhys to fullfill his oath to kill Marlene if she became Oona

Edit : @Polock NO BAD! They are brother and sister!

Double Edit : Also it's not the Oko we know...it's the Shadowmoore Oko and the Dickhead Oko is the Lorwyn Oko

I have so many questions now...

And I feel like answering them would be a pointless exercise.

Still oko is a native to Lorwyn? So he has like multiple personalities from being there? Is this all the concern over Kellen? Some kind of insane cross-planar breeding plan? Argh!
