High Perfect Morcant is the perfect board wipe commander because of Elfball.
>Boardwipe Commander
>No White

Get the fuck out of this thread, honestly I think the Commander Precon Terra might be the thing you want for boardwipe tribal.

It's not like you are going to spend a ton of mana on your creatures so they will be small enough for her ability...

Elves make tokens, Morcant makes opponents blight one for each elf. Plus with reanimation in black and some +1/+1 synergies, Morcant is board wipe tribal. Emeritus of Abundance alone will make Morcant a lot more oppressive.

You are just missing..90% of the best boardwipes.

Morcant plus Flourishing Defenses immediately locks the board and is a one-sided wipe. You get to pair it with Crippling Fear, Kindred Dominance, and Toxic Deluge for a disgusting amount of control potential. It just has trouble with draw, if anything: Morcant doesn't naturally synergize with any particularly-strong GB draw engines, beyond Pact of the Serpent. The three elven draw-engines are pretty good, but they neither synergize with -1/-1 counters nor do anything with proliferate.

Every GB boardwipe is one sided if you lead or follow up with protection or a mass reanimate. Outside of that; living death is one of my favorites in a reanimator deck because my graveyard's always 40 cards deep and nobody runs grave hate. It gets around protection keywords too.

It gets around protection keywords too.
The only boardwipes that are affected by protection are Red, generally. There are a few white ones that make creatures deal damage to themselves, like wave of reckoning.

If you mean indestructible, Living Death does get around that - but so does Toxic Deluge and any of the other -X/-X variants. In a Morcant deck, I might consider running a Black Sun's Zenith if I really wanted any more than the three I mentioned given its proliferate synergies, but I also don't really think elves needs many boardwipes.

Why does all the modern MTG Art look so shit, it is all "vibrant" and faggy

They will never again make cards like this:

By the way, you can still have colorful art without it being so gay:

I've always knew the old art was better but ever since I've been getting into PreMordern, it's so clear that the new art is weak shit.

The modern frame is ugly and old foils put anything they do now to shame.

I have some 100%-proxied Premodern decks but I'm putting together a real Deadguy Ale deck, and what's funny is a surprising majority amount of the cards the deck normally plays have modern/8th Edition frame printings. Some are pricy like old judge promos or Friday Night Magic printings but M10, M11 and the duel decks make a lot of these cheap. Maybe a bit antithetical to the spirit of the format but most of the art is either reusing old printings' art or uses iconic art in its own right like the Terese Nielsen StP, I may go this route instead of buying original or contemporary prints where possible.

I will probably compromise my own idea and get certain cards in their cheapest printing first, like MKC Exalted Angel being a bulk rare vs $52 for the FNM modern frame printing.

It's because they can't do edgy, they couldn't do the Weatherlight Saga or even New Phyrexia. Even the sets you'd think they could pull out all the stops like the wild west set or a haunted house set they'll at least try but it just looks like slop.

Maybe it's my pod, but I find that -1/-1 counters are quickly becoming the go-to board wipe for me. There's just simply too many cards that grant creatures indestructible, that I find it easier to fit neg one card givers into my deck when I'm not just stray up running exile.

The problem with that is that you only hit creatures then and threats are getting varied enough that you need things that clear everything.

Oh for sure but 9 out 10 games I play around my pod and LGS are bracket 3 and they all love their creatures. I'm fucked if someone brings out an enchantress deck and I can only get rid of her once or twice but I make do.

Most of my decks land at 3 (I've accidentally avoided aloft of gamechangers, I guess i think most of them are overrated?) but most boardwipes are
gonna miss something good i am playing.

Like The Ascendancy cycle from Tarkir, or the various courts, or whatever Planeswalker i found that synergies with my main plan that loves coming down on a clear board.
