Then why not sol ring?
Sol Ring is in evry commander product. That would've created a logicstical issue. And it seems they think that Sol Ring on its own is ok, but when it gets more redundant it becomes a problem. Also, I think manacrypt is a stronger card by the virtue of it costing nothing and allowing you to get whole 3 mana(1 of which is colored) on your first turn, while continuing to persist later, unlike dadrk ritual, for example.

Outside of niche shit like having to pay more mana for Transmute Artifact or specifically needing a CMC 1 target, Mox Sol Ring that Bolts you every other upkeep is better than Sol Ring.

Oi lads, things are getting more and more interesting.
So, here's what Olivia, that woman from RC, if I'm not mixing anything up, tweeted, likely about the takeover.

Now, how likely it is that whoever decided to procede with it "forgot" to ask her? Maybe this takeover was much less peacefull than WotC wants their paypigs to believe? I sure want to know, but doubt we will any time soon.

Both are a problem in a gameplay sense and for multiple reasons.

They go in every deck, and that means you also want..Arcane Signet, Guild Signets, Mind Stone, Diamonds,Talismans because "Crypt/Ring into 2 mana rock" is a very strong play to be made and increasing your chances of having it in your opening hand is the correct thing to do, a Good 10% of your deck being automatically decided for every deck is awful for the health of the format.

When someone goes off with fast mana the best way to deal with them is straight up Player Removal, which surprise is considered "TAAAAAHHHHXIIIIC" and while it does kind of suck to get taken out first..why is it that people are so distractable and narcissistic that "being eliminated and watching the game play out" is worse than HitlerTrump showing up and killing a Tranny in front of you.

BE KIND AND STAY SAFE

Toxic Positivity Bullshit.

This is honestly twofold in how weird it is to me. Players can still be involved if its a friendly game by trying to ally to someone to make them kill whoever killed them via BSing and ghostpoliticing and they can also see what they need to avoid in future games to potentially win. OR they can just sit on their phone for a hour, which they were probably doing anyways because the fucking blue player has a full grip and the white/red player decided to blow up their lands. Doing nothing in commander isn't """fun""" but it doesn't change the outcome of most commander games (them not being the winner), and if they cant be having fun while they (the hypothetical cEDH tranny we all love to yell at) aren't playing then maybe their playgroup (a bunch of other hypothetical sweaty tryhard cEDH trannies we also love to yell at) fucking sucks. Be a gigachad and learn to love playing shitty magic decks that are shitty rube goldberg nothing burgers or MAKE YOU LOSE THE GAME, or put another way: Kill yourself, but in Magic the Gathering.

The big thing for me is that even if you get
eliminated, there is still a game going on in-front of you, watch it, you might learn a thing

My core group and I play high powered decks to do dumb shit. At the end of our last game from a winning position, I found like a six card line to establish three Skirk Fire Marshal activations to kill us all at the same time.

Wizards doesn’t want you to know this, but this is peak MTG gameplay

Winning with Plan A that you have won with before and knew about building the deck..a C- Feeling, its okay.

Wining with Plan G that you stumble across because you were empty handed and just happened to draw into it and didn't see it till you assembled the combo? S Class Feeling.

Even better when you are a Theft Deck Enjoyer and combo off with other people's pieces. I was playing Tasha when everyone was going wide once and made someone mill over a Ezuri's Predation when I had Altar of the Brood out and cast it and made 2 people mill out on the spot and then sent the beasts at the third for the win.

This concept has been kicked around a few times, and I’m pretty sure there’s one that got mocked up by that retard kiwitapes. I started playing the One Piece tcg with a friend, and it honestly feels like it would be even better than magic as a base for a kiwitcg.
we kicked around a few ideas on the thread

depends on which feel you want to go with. heck i've got a buddy working on a project it could slot in you could even have a villain side with "the evil kiwi farmers" that could be dumb as well.

How viable are precons for Commander?

I got into Magic recently. I like Duskmourn a lot, cause really I'm into 80's horrors. I don't even mind 'fag and nigger' survivors that much. My lgs has Commander events every week. I've been wondering if I should just build a deck from cards I already have (mostly Duskmourn and Innistrad) or get myself some precon. I don't care much about winning, just want to chill and play something fun.

Depends on the precon. A good precon is extendable. My main EDH deck is a Anje precon I've souped out with staples and draft cards from limited. As for winning with them, depends on if you are playing with a casual group or cedh. Casual you might have a shot, but you are gonna have an issue playing against a $300 Yawgmoth deck.

Most of the precons these days are fine out of the box, and some - like the Baldur's Gate ones, or the black-red one in Duskmourn - are actually very good. They tend to be light on mana acceleration and quality card drawing or library manipulation spells, and the three-color ones generally don't have enough good color fixing, but you can fix most of those problems on a pretty tight budget if you want.

Unless your card portfolio stretches all the way back, I'd recommend strating from a precon as a base. Just look up decklists, check some reviews and choose a better one, or the one you like. You'll get a bunch of essential commander things, like sol ring, commander tower, other manarocks, mid-level staples for the colors, which they don't print in standart, etc. Also, I suggest not going over three colors.
What about using SkullCrack just to cuck the person casting Exanguinate?
Not going to matter. If someone casts it, it's usually for enough damage.
