Now that I think about it. I don't really see the influence of blue here. Vigiliance is secondary at best in blue. He would probably be better with flash, maybe have him enter tapped if you add flash, so he can't be used as a blocker when you use him as a combat trick the same turn.
Same, but its passable as dimir, Vigilance does show up in mono blue from time to time

Also "Planets Hair"

I have not played any Final Fantasy games. My only exposure to it is through osmosis seeing memes and people talk about it, Cloud & Sephiroth in Super Smash Bros, and the copious amounts of porn the characters get, like seriously there's almost as much of it as there is of Overwatch

I'm gonna trust you all on whether or not the cards are faithful representations cuz all I'm gonna see is how playable or not they'll be in Eternal formats.

Because there's nothing in green that gives a creature trample.
I don't think the card will be amazing but it will be fun thrown into green and gruul commander decks.
You could also just build a casual gruul monsters deck in 60 card formats or try to fling it.
In standard you have llanowar elves, hauntwood, sellsword, garruk's uprising, the red haste glimmer, and probably other things as I don't actually play standard so I don't really know. I doubt the deck will be good, but some people might have fun with it.

Based on the flavor text and appearance, it looks like Shiva is actually her Fayth dreamed version in FFX.
Suggests she's probably in the Tidus deck which has a counters matter theme based off him as Commander. Yuna might be saga, enchantment or counters related based off Shiva.

The +1/+1 counters are just his hair length. The man must buy his hair product by the gallon.
They actually mention that in crisis core, he uses a whole bottle of shampoo and conditioner each every time he washes his hair.

now I want the card..just so I can commission hair +1/+1 tokens and just attach more and more hair to him.

Edit : In Other news, Budles are now 85 Dollars...so the price has more than doubled..but you get a Box Topper and two collector boosters in it now.

KEK.

It's funny but they never go into details about the guys personal life. I suppose that's the point though.

We know Genesis likes musical theatre and literature. Angeal had a decent family life. Aside from Professor Gast and them the dude never really had any friends or people he liked being around. The guys never even really that loyal to Shinra compared to Lazard, he disregards orders to help out people and coworkers who need a break, and as long as you didn't fuck with him until Nibelheim he was pretty chill as a boss.

Despite the game barely being about Sephiroth it did manage to just show that he was just kind of content with his life until all his friends died and he also learned the truth about everything.
I want to play Crisis Core again, but I don't really want to play the remake as I hate Zack's new English voice; I wish my psp wasn't busted.

I like this legal unset card.View attachment 6997781
I like reading social media comments on how ridiculous it is and how it's totally gonna get banned guys. It's the kind of comment that screams "I am genuinely terrible at evaluating cards and I want the world to know"
It's a meme card that will be fun for casuals. A 7-mana 1/7 with no ETB or keywords that also needs to attack is nowhere near good enough to be a consistently good threat in 2025. If you're cheating it out, there are better options such as Atraxa, Griselbrand, OG Emrakul... Basically any big creature that sees play in a Legacy or Vintage combo deck.
Now if its power was just 10,000 with no strings attached it would be significantly better and could potentially see play in Standard or maybe Pioneer ramp decks that splash red for a surprise combo finish.

Its a terrible card, but it will be funny to fling, and funny to pair with pathbreaker ibex in edh

You mean "The Truth" that he was wrong about because his buddy set him up to be wrong.
That really is the most fucked thing. Sephiroth losing his shit really is a comedy of errors, and really Shinras fault more than anything.

First they send Sephiroth to Niebelheim. Why...? In Crisis Core, he essentially says he's a week away from retirement. Just give the dude a milk run like killing two of those desert snakes, and have Zack mop up the minor power plant issue. He's a first class at this point.

Second, they kill off Ghast whom he would have believed was being straight with him if Ghast told him Jenova wasn't an ancient.

Third, Hojo locked Vincent Valentine in a box two floors up, who might have been able to course correct him and possibly even reunite him with his biological mother.

Frankly Cactuar is so bad that it will almost make it respectable when people will use it to draw their entire library + 9900ish cards in EDH with Greater Good or Return of the Wildspeaker and then win the game off of blue nonsense. I'd be more interested in running it in a Mr Orfeo fling deck though

Honestly I'm diggin the way that they are portaying summons in the game by utilizing the Saga mechanics.

Having Bahamut come in and do some things then on his final chapter just blows up the board state is gonna be pretty cool.

So long as we get some versions that arent from 10. Gimme 9s Alexander as a saga
