A lot of degenerate shit fits right in because it's dystopia. I still remember how trannies got mad about some of the in-game posters, even though it's by all accounts exactly the kind of shit they supposedly want
Progressives don't want non progressives to enunciate the things they believe in or care about, ironically or otherwise, they intrinsically know alot of it is degen shit that is bad, but DoubleThink is powerful.

exposing it to them from an "outside" voice or image, ect, reflects to them what it is, its why they are always so impossibly touchy and reactionairy.

I still remember how trannies got mad about some of the in-game posters, even though it's by all accounts exactly the kind of shit they supposedly want. But for the most part, even when they're trying to "celebrate" progressive movement, it's basically impossible because everything in that world is meant to be awful. Self-indulgence and hedonism are clearly shown to be path to hell, easily exploitable by corporations.
The only thing that stood out to me in my playthrough was "Claire" Russell, and more so the fact that you're only ever allowed to go along with they'm.

Even if I played the games as a kid, I don't remember, there's a good chance that I have. But I did watch MandaloreGaming's series on the franchise, and I really enjoyed it.
That's why I was still bummed up that they reduced Marathon to cynical MTX-ridden PvP extraction shooter. It should've been a proper story-driven singleplayer game, but at this point it's not something Bungie is capable of making.
Claire was also a psychopath and you can not kill the guy and I always felt that was a very accurate depiction of trannies in underground scenes because you do see troons in those seedy areas. They want to appear like a quirky feminine bartender but have some manly interest like cars and then have psychotic urges to kill and make it everyone's problem.

And btw is it only me that is really bothered of how big the weapons are? Leave all the bad shit in this abomination of a game but when I look at the monitor 1/3 of the space is occupied by the gun wtf...
Do console gamers/Devs like it that way or is it hardware limitations or what...wtf
Is there no FoV slider...?
They're going to raise TotalBiscuit at this rate.

God fucking forbid we use language like "request friend" on our UI. What is this post modernism nonsense?

destiny 2 remnants, which is a thing of that period too and mostly console focused thing.

there is.

I'm not really an expert on him, but it definitely feels like he is all-in on this game.
He is all-in on any game whose publisher bribes him adequately. There's literally no other explanation. This dude is Jim Kramer-tier for backing the wrong horses (I'm convinced Kramer is similarly paid to either ruin stocks and mislead investors). Nobody is ever so consistently wrong by accident.

It’s very interesting seeing the official Marathon Reddit discourse about The burnt peanut, arguably the largest streamer currently on the planet, play and positively support their game.

But they’d apparently would rather cry and complain about him and how toxic he is rather than accept and be grateful they even have such a large and influential advocate for their mid as fuck game :story:

Often guns look bigger than they should because of default FOV being much too low. Does adjusting it help? Or is weapon design really just that bad.
If you go on their website you can look at the guns and upon closer inspection the bullet needs to somehow travel up to a foot of distance diagonally from the magazine to the chamber on most of the guns. Some call this the “bullet elves” carrying them around.

they can smell Chuds, even though that fucker doesn't even curse beyond accepted words.

Bungie seems to have lost the institutional knowledge as to why they used lowered crosshairs in their FPS games. They kept the single vanishing point on the models but stopped lowering the crosshair, so now half the screen is covered by gun model. Destiny 2 still has lowered crosshair so the knowledge was there in 2017 but sometime between then and now they forgot the reason they did it.

Marathon having the same aesthetic as MDE skits means they should give me a Sam Hyde skin and I will forgive them for everything. The Cube where ancient magic meets modern technology could literally fit into Marathon lore.
Sorry no...he can't keep getting away with it.
What next?...you'll ask them to add all the content they cut from the game so they can update it piece meal later... Listen chuddy you will play exactly at they wanted you to consume.. Or else

Well, how are you gonna see your premium skin if the gun doesn't cover half the screen...

Never forget that Bungie released a whole masterpiece campaign that people look upon fondly as the most unique Halo game with firefight mode and the entire Halo 3 multiplayer with forge for $60 and allowed you to get recon through vidmaster challenges and getting skulls on multiplayer maps that you physically own

$40 for online only with paid skins is fucking gay
It's funny you praise this because everyone bitched endlessly about ODST being $60 on release.

I guess it just shows how willing people are to take it up the ass now. $2.50 Oblivion horse armor looks so quaint anymore.

I remember that, because it wasn't on a new engine and was basically an expansion pack for Halo 3. The game is absolutely adored as one of the best in the original Bungie series and was just the side project. Bungie also filled their games to the brim with easter eggs people are still discovering today. The amount of content in Halo 3 ODST is staggering.

You can always find the number 7 in Bungie Halo games and everything is placed and balancedperfectly and you are rewarded for strategic thinking, like it takes 5 shots to kill with a DMR and there are 15 rounds in a mag so you can kill 3 players evenly or like the type 52 carbine adding up to 7. Some neurotic autist made sure those original games were absolutely perfect and it showed.
