So a bunch of people gathered to stage a protest or something directed at PMURT and the dumb Republicans who voted for him because he's anti-science and probably believes in God lol what a fag.

Although there seems to be a misunderstanding between what is science-fiction and actual science among these people.

But overall I agree with the general sentiment of this demonstration: that is, that politicians are disregarding scientific evidence when taking certain actions. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen any politician consider this piece of scientific data.

Not to defend this bullshit festival, but any large protest in D.C. attracts a bunch of shitheads who aren't actually connected to the protest, but try to turn it into a protest about their personal pet cause. LaRouche's followers constantly do this, even though they never organize anything on their own. World Can't Wait, an organ of the Revolutionary Communist Party (Bob Avakian's commie group) also does this, and has at least in the past had an insidious grasp on D.C. protest culture simply because of its ability at organizing. It tries to turn any imaginable anti-war protest into a protest against Israel because it's as anti-Semitic as a bunch of Nazis.

And then, just in general, you have a bunch of protest shitheads with their own personal pet causes who show up at any protest that happens and end up in a weird colony of people everyone hates. That picture you posted is the weird colony of people everyone hates at every protest.
