In what way are people who are married now diminished by the legalization of gay marriage? because you've lost me. Their marriage does not become any less valid and they retain the same rights they have under 'traditional' laws. The only difference is that homosexuals would also be able to attain those same rights. That doesn't harm people who already have them in any way.
