Mario Bros. Set to Jump to Big Screen in Movie Deal with Universal’s Illumination - Paging Movie Bob, Paging Movie Bob...

It looked alright. Jack Black did a good job from the looks of it. Chris Pratt as Mario sounded like....well Christ Pratt. Hopefully we can get a full trailer early next year.

I get why people are goofing on Pratt, it is just his voice with just a bit of Saturday Morning flare. But honestly the directors had their hands tied. Give Mario an Italian accent and "Oh so bad stereotyping" even though I never heard of a single Italian actually complain over Mario's voice.

But yeah Jack Black did a great job. And I was shocked that Key from Key & Peele is voicing Toad and did a good job dialing down the video game Toad noises.

I have no desire to see the movie, I'm certain I'd fall asleep if I put it on during babysitting time. But I hope it makes the fanbase as happy as the Sonic movies did.

After watching Terminal list, i hope Chris Pratt Mario goes full navy seals on the koppas.
Doesn't matter if the rest of the movie sucked, I would love it.

Thats because the people bitching about the "bad stereotyping" are just speaking on behalf of other people even though they have no idea wtf they are talking about.

It's why #NotYourShield was a thing during GooberGape. SJWs were speaking on behalf of women, when in reality most women told them to shut the fuck up and hated their guts for dragging them through the mud with their political agenda.

Helps that Jack Black has a lot of experience with voice acting by this point and he clearly puts effort into his work, when I saw he was the voice for Bowser I thought he could do a really good comedic Bowser if the movie was going in that direction. But from this little teaser he's doing a great job as regular Bowser too. Chris Pratt is Chris Pratt. Unfortunately though I really don't want to watch anything that has Seth Rogen in it so I probably won't even pirate this.

Looks decent to be honest. Now if I heard Charlie Day’s performance as Luigi I may or may not see it.

Does anyone really have fond memories over those penguins that aren't dropping the baby off the cliff? Just seems like an odd choice to have them included.

Yes, listening to this

They had a cool town in the first Paper Mario.
Not remembering them I had to look it up and discovered they aren't actually penguins like the Mario 64 penguins.
