I worry they might make it an Alien or Aliens clone. I remember being a high schooler and joked with other people that's how a Metroid adaption will be. I certainly hope that isn't so.

I watched it (a dl) the other day. It was fine. Seth Rogan was miscast but the rest of the cast were fine. Nothing overly pozzed about it, some fun Easter eggs and a decent score. 7/10.

it's such a shame that they had seth rogen as DK, because his scenes were very fun. I just couldn't get over that unfunny hack's annoying fucking voice and laugh.

All I remember of that movie is that it spoiled the first warp whistle in Super Mario Bros 3 before the game was even out in the USA. At the time I thought that was a big deal.

Wonderful. It's funny how the movie itself has poor pacing, yet I just watched the whole thing in under 6 minutes and wasn't bothered at all.

So the Mario movie finally premiered in Japan, but i've heard the Japanese version will have a different script, handled by Nintendo themselves, maybe that was reason why the movie premiered in Japan nearly a month later compared to the US., what do you think they changed? my bets are that they'll replace the licence tracks and probably will change some of Peach's dialog.
