Minor drama I noticed:
dog, one of Mark's jannies, has been editing people's posts again instead of deleting comments. Why not just do his "job" and delete spam is a mystery, but he has known to be a faggot long before the infamous 8chan leaks. Also, Mark has been found to be sperging out at people on Xitter but sadly the post that linked to it was deleted

For something a bit different, I went over to zzzchan's /b/ board, which if you last recall had some pedophile becoming a janny and declaring total retard war. The board is even deader than before, to the point "anonymous" users can tell who is who just by their reaction images and posting style, similar to 8/v/. Pathetic, but that's not what I am interested in, there is a thread talking about a "Christ-Chan.net" imageboard, which is christ cuck country if you can't tell. I will let you be the judge of this one:
Fun thing to note is that there has been a rise in Atheism vs Christianity religious debates on both 8chan and zzzchan, I wonder why that would be?

Since there is crossovers with alt-chans like zzzchan, should the title of the thread/OP be amended to add info about the webring? They are too dead to get a thread on their own and I can't think of a better thread to crosspost their drama in since 8chan.moe is the largest of these 8chan adjacent altchans anyways(and likes of zzzchan cannot stop talking about them)

Not the chart itself but rather it's substance, ie the shitty games on it, since they reflect poorly on the board itself to a degree

There is some drama but it'd be mostly old stuff or history from the likes of /cow/. Mark and 8chan.moe is probably the most active topic. Smug, animu and cafe don't have enough postings to warrant a thread I think. The odd occasional sperg from zzz could deserve a post but Mark and 8chan have enough history to warrant /lolcow/ status, in my opinion.
In a recent post, Mark sent a Superchat to Sam Hyde asking to be on the next season of Fishtank. Sam said that only people who don't know him should be on.

I fully support the idea of him being stuck in a closely monitored environment and fucked with for our personal entertainment. Sam doesn't know what he's missing out on when we have such wealth of content just from his sperging on his own board alone.

With how everybody on /v/ seems to know one another, I am guessing that the site barely reaches double digits of users in a day anymore. Double post, but I found some more good milk. The site is deader than ever, and I remember even a year ago around this time it was particularly dead(likely because there was a massive Rayman 4 leak and everybody went over to 4chan. Why would anybody stick around 8chan, nobody would leak anything there). Wish there were was more, but I can't state enough how little content there is on the site nowdays, or rather burst of content then silence again.

Banning loli off of /v/ is a good start to clean up the board, not that Mark would ever do that. The BO of /b/ banned CP but no one really posts there anyway.

That sucks, was any reason given? cafe was alright, I always saw it as a comfy, neutral space on the webring, one where other imageboards could come and meet without some sort of drama or proxy wars nonsense. It was also a good place to regroup if a site went down or had technical problems, anons there could talk and discuss where to go next and what to do.
This is a canary dying in the coal mine, webring is already halfway to the grave but if more sites start shutting down, that will only lead to further irrelevancy. I think we can consider the entire webring experiment a complete and utter failure

Seems like it was the same with Hispachan and they decided to shut down. Server costs are expensive these days and even running an image board as a hobby might be a luxury you have to cut out.
