Well they had to open up a new studio in a city filled with gaming studios because the Austin location wouldn't work on it and Edmonton has two known IP's being worked on currently and a whole new unknown IP being worked on so they're swamped. All of that money wasted for lackluster sales, closing of the Bioware forums, bad PR because of the racist guy over at Bioware Montreal it's really only natural to blame the fan base because they want their fans to eat shit up. You should be happy to buy a new game no matter how bad it is because after all, don't we do that with Call of Duty?
Go to the McDonald's close to their Edmonton location and pitch the idea. They used to be really open to input back in the day even if their EA overlords wouldn't accept such ideas.
It's funny, I was mulling over how to make a sequel to the Mass Effect series given the clusterfuck of an ending a few days ago, and I had an idea.
So, like, one of the central things in Mass Effect is that conventional FLT travel is impractical outside of close star clusters, and the mass effect relays are needed to travel relatively long distances.
So, instead of trying to make a sequel that attempts to account for all three choices, or just leaves what happens to the galaxy out, make it a "what if" type game that assumes that Shepard nuked the Reapers in 3, damaging or destroying all of the mass effect relays and plunging the galaxy into a new dark age. With the primary method of long distance FTL travel destroyed, the survivors of the reaper invasion find themselves confined to close star clusters reachable with conventional FLT, unable to communicate with or travel to other star clusters.
Hundreds of years in the future, one of these star clusters is invaded by an unknown scouting force that had somehow come through the cluster's damaged mass effect relay and partially repaired it. As the commander of a small reconnaissance ship, you must travel through the partially working relay, explore what the galaxy has evolved into, and uncover what these strange invaders are, before they begin a full assault on your home.
Hey Bioware, I just came up with a better premise than ME:A, hire me plese.
