Seems to be the story.
Seems like it took place on the train and they had to wait until the train could stop before doing anything. If that's the case it could be as high as an entire carriage stabbed. Cannot find any estimate on victims anywhere. The account that posted those two videos does say 10 people but no source.
Perhaps they inconvenienced the attacker by resisting?
An attack like this was inevitable, really. They'll shut down the entire network and institute total security theatre at every station before they ever consider removing the root cause.
Absolute nightmare if true, also seen multiple claims that the attack happened while on the tracks and the train had to be diverted to Huntington- potentially an unplanned stop? I'll refrain from speculating until we know more but absolutely fucking horrific.

Because the foreign sources will post anything stated on Twitter as fact whereas our own try to verify a little first.
First the train was going south (Newcastle - York - Doncaster - Peterborough - Stevenage - London King's Cross) and now it's going north from King's Cross to Hull?
Could be for medical reasons. Most police are trained in dealing with stab wounds considering the fucking state of this country. If you have a massive attack it's easier to bring in every ambulance locally and all the police instead of trying to get ambulances from afar. I know where I live there is not that many ambulances. It's a pretty small place so they might simply not have enough hands. Police fill those gaps.

That video in this post is taken from an overpass north of the train station. Facing south. Train is on the left side of the tracks. So started in Peterborough and going towards King's cross.

I wonder if they intended to do an attack in London but got into a panic with a ticket inspector asking them for tickets so did the stabbings on the train.
