Last night's stream was largely for Beardson to announce that he is going to convert to Catholicism. It's painfully obvious that Beardson is only doing this to fit in within the AF movement and to garner more donations but tries to play it off as 100% sincere. There's a lot to the religious talk so I'm not sure how much of that I will clip once I'm done with reviewing the stream. Here are some clips leading up to the Catholicism talk:

He treats becoming catholic not like something to be treated with reverence and respect but an item to check off on a list. If any priest saw a fraction of what he streams they would refuse to baptism him. I was born and raised Catholic. From what I know, you can't just convert in your 30s without jumping through hoops to prove your faith, they don't just hand out baptisms, communions and confirmations like candy. They're pretty strict about that kind of thing.

Unless someone has a good clip of him explaining his conversion process, you can't just 'convert' to Catholicism. It unironically involves baptism (if not from a prot/other church that Catholics recognize valid baptisms), confirmation, eucharist, RCIA, etc. You also need a sponsor I believe to help guide you in your journey. It unironically takes at least a year I believe. Yet more ammo that 'trad cath' is performative to them, not real at all.
