Blaze isn't doing anything. They fired Tomi Lahren for her pro abortion stance, but Rubin is their token. He's friends with Ben Shapiro. The Blaze needs their alliance with Shapiro's Daily Wire. If you look at the comments under the Rubin's announcement, every conservative commentator supports Rubin. Conservative media spent weeks attacking Pete Buttigieg for denying children a mother and renting a womb. It's ok because Rubin is their gay. All are conservative grifters.

I used to think artsy punk indie music was inherent left wing until I peeled past the totalitarian state of the public space in 2022. The truth is that at least half of famous musicians and artists are right wing, including some of the most highly esteemed innovators of the genre. Just because it makes asshurt midwit lamebrain faggots like Anthony Fantano spaz out and shriek and cry and hurl epithets at the transgressor doesn’t make it false. I hate that guy, probably more than is warranted tbh.
Thing is that most people know to keep their mouths shut. That, or most people actually really aren’t that intelligent or informed about politics, philosophy, intellectual topics. They aren’t explicitly lefty, more so just haven’t thought about it extensively. You don’t realize until you think about it, just how controlled those spaces are by thought police types. It’s no coincidence that the inventor of punk recognizes this dynamic as mindless, authoritarian, gay, non fun, non creative, and completely antithetical to the deeper philosophy of the punk ethos.
While we are on the topic of Punk, take Sex Pistols. Johnny Rotten is probably one of if not the most prestigious names in the history of Punk, the guy went on to found Public Image Ltd who also are highly esteemed as post-punk innovators. And he wore a MAGA hat. Soyboys like Fantano want to retcon these little details in order to maintain the hoax. Maybe I am being hard on Fantano, I mean I’m sure he’s a nice enough guy.

We'll see with time....but Beardson is too over-the-top. It could be an act.

That's fair. I do agree that every problem Beardson has, he brought upon himself. The same personality that gained him an audience has proceeded to destroy it. Couple that with the fact that he has been exposed to a mainstream audience, he is pretty fucked, there's no denying that. He's like a rat caught in a running wheel. That's what's so pitiful to me, you're watching this rat run and run and you know it's eventually going to die.
