Decided to check out his subreddit again, Matto seems to be heavily criticized right now because he deletes tons of bad performing older videos and stuff he just doesn't like anymore. He outsourced some editing a while ago and the quality of the videos seems to have gone down with that. Also people claim that he is way to obsessed with the performance of his channels now leading to more algorithm optimized content with the classic soy face thumbnails.

This was his reply to all of this in the stickied post on the subreddit, obviously most of the replies are full of ball washers.
